Perched atop Marina Bay Sands, Spago by Wolfgang Puck had always been on my list, but what truly drew me in was its quiet commitment to the planet behind the polished experience.

As I stepped into the sleek dining room with panoramic skyline views, I already felt I was in for something special. What I didn’t expect was how seamlessly Spago integrated sustainability into every aspect of its offering—without ever compromising on flavor or luxury.

From the first bite, the experience was layered—not just with taste, but with meaning. The Ora King Salmon, responsibly sourced from New Zealand under best aquaculture practices, was a standout. Knowing that the seafood was certified by MSC, ASC, or BAP gave every dish a sense of purpose. Spago has even gone a step further by banning endangered species like Bluefin Tuna and Shark Fin, a bold and commendable choice in the fine dining world.

I was equally impressed by their support of local and regional produce. Fresh herbs from Singapore, tropical fruits and vegetables from Malaysia, and sustainably sourced poultry and eggs

The hotel has reduced its carbon footprint by over 50% since 2012, thanks to initiatives like harnessing solar energy from panels atop the SkyPark Infinity Pool and implementing smart room controls that adjust lighting and air-conditioning based on occupancy.

Water conservation is another priority for them. The resort collects and recycles water from over 3,000 air-conditioning units, saving an average of 77,000 liters daily, which is then used for landscaping and irrigation.

Beyond the eco-conscious efforts, my experience at the hotel was absolutely unforgettable. The luxurious SkyPark Infinity Pool with its stunning view of the city was an incredible way to relax, and the attention to detail throughout the resort made me feel right at home. My room was a perfect blend of modern elegance and comfort, with panoramic views of the city that left me in awe every time I gazed out the window.

One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the renowned Spago Dining Room, perched on the 57th floor. The ambiance was sophisticated yet welcoming, and the food? Absolutely spectacular. The tasting menu was a journey of flavors; each dish a beautiful balance of fresh, high-quality ingredients with inventive twists. The Wagyu beef, perfectly seared and paired with delicate sides, was a standout, and the desserts were a symphony of flavors that melted in my mouth. 

I will totally love to stay here again.
