Red Roof Plus+ & Suites Guilford

Hotel is definitely dated but had all the amenities I needed for a 3 day work trip. My only complaint is the gentleman that checked me in kept doing these big burps and couldn’t even say excuse me.

Our room was clean and spacious. It had all the basic things we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The Hotel grounds were great for our dog with spacious pet and child playing areas. Landscapping was welcoming and well maintained.

Bed was shot. Bathroom walls were disgusting. Front desk clerk was hard to understand. Lots of empty rooms yet I had an elephant above me stomping around. I won't stay there again.

The tables, refrigerator and floor needed to be wiped down and mopped.. It had all all finger prints on it. The floor was sticky when I had socks on. Also the fridge temperature was way down so it wasn't cold so it took a little while to come up to temp. The bathroom could use a paint job and a new shelf for the towels.The T.V wouldn't change channels. The staff was very nice.

This hotel room was dirty. Everything was outdated. The bathroom was dirty, trim on the door was filthy, and had broken floor tiles. We would not recommend a stay here. Spark Hotel about 3 miles away would be a much better option.

The room was very chemical smelling from Fabuloso cleaner, it was overpowering. The bathroom floor was dirty, and shower curtain torn. There were about 6-7 flies in the room. The king bed was old and creaky and the pullout couch was uncomfortable. The kitchen looked clean, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

This location hasn’t been well-maintained. The rooms are dark and dismal. There are kitchenettes in the rooms but you have to ask for cookware, dishes and utensils. There are better options in Guilford.
