The hotel's bed linen was just average, with a few holes or small stains found over several days, though they were promptly replaced after reporting. There was a slight musty smell in the room, which improved a lot after putting out some aromatherapy. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but it was decent enough. The chia seed pudding, Thai tea, and omelet were quite delicious. I was very happy with the hotel's location—it's just a short walk up a tiny slope to the beach, yet set back enough from the main road so it's not too noisy. Karon is also much quieter than Patong, with plenty of restaurants around. The aesthetic design of the hotel is great too; the pool isn't big, but there's a frangipani tree planted right next to it, making the fallen petals feel very romantic. The pool bar also has a great chill vibe. Although it has been open for nearly ten years, the renovation and maintenance are well done, showing very little sign of aging. The bed was huge, over 1.8 meters wide, and the overall cleanliness was good, with only the occasional tiny flying insect in the room and no other bugs.

An exceptionally satisfying stay! A special shout-out to the Chinese-speaking front desk manager, who provided outstanding service and upgraded us to a room with a gorgeous view. Overall, we were extremely pleased and very comfortable. The beach is right at the doorstep, and we will definitely book this hotel again if we return to Phuket.

The room is a sea view suite! Opening the balcony door reveals the pool and Karon Beach. The room decor features a distinct Thai style. The room and bed linens felt slightly damp. The hotel is within walking distance to Karon Beach. Just walk out of the lobby, go down the slope, cross the street, and the beach is right across!

The room is very spacious, but quite old and dated. The hotel staff are all very friendly, especially the front desk team. However, the room cleaning was mediocre—truly subpar. They didn't even throw away the trash on the table; we had put it in a plastic bag, but they completely ignored it, leaving it exactly as we left it when we went out. They didn't even throw away the used toothbrushes on the vanity, just left them sitting there—I honestly don't understand why. What kind of housekeeping is this? A few of the towels were also ragged and tattered. Is this really what you get for nearly 2,000 RMB a night? The toiletries aren't great either, so I'd recommend bringing your own or buying them at 7-Eleven. If there's a huge peak-season price surge, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Facing the stunning Karon Beach, the pool is large and beautiful. The hotel's surroundings are very convenient; walk right out the door and you'll find plenty of 7-Eleven stores and fruit shops. A short walk to the left takes you to Kata, which has many massage parlors. The hotel's half-board option is also very convenient and delicious; I ate it for three straight days!

The pool was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff service was excellent. Karon Beach is only about a 3-minute walk away, and the surrounding local Thai restaurants are also close by, making the location great. It's not as noisy as Patong, so it's perfect for a staycation. I would like to stay here again if I ever go to Karon Beach.

The hotel is great, only a 5-minute walk to the beach, which is very quiet. The ocean-view room faces directly towards the sea, and I enjoyed a spectacular sunset on the day I checked in. Breakfast was plentiful, and dinner was decent. The swimming pool was well-maintained and clean. I also slept very well every night during my stay.

Before booking this hotel, I saw reviews mentioning differential treatment and discrimination. I didn't believe them at first, as every hotel has negative reviews, and people's thresholds for what they find acceptable vary. Personally, my threshold isn't very low; I'm quite understanding and accepting of many things. However, the differential treatment at this hotel was severe. Their attitude towards others was genuinely excellent, and while they weren't overtly rude to us, their attitude towards Caucasians was on an entirely different level! My friend and I were waiting to check in with a group of Caucasians (our room wasn't ready yet). After waiting for about half an hour, staff members gave gifts to others, but not to us. Only one Chinese-speaking staff member and the doorman were particularly nice to us. The other front desk staff were all smiles with the Caucasians but wore stone-cold expressions when dealing with us. We hadn't done anything to offend them, so it made me feel very uncomfortable. If I hadn't witnessed the differential treatment firsthand, it might have been okay. I've traveled in Thailand for many days and stayed in several hotels, but this was the only one where I clearly experienced such blatant differential treatment. Furthermore, the hotel elevator had a strong, unpleasant smell due to poor ventilation. Our room also had an overpowering fragrance that made me feel very uncomfortable. The design of the bathroom's glass door was also poorly thought out; it easily hits the toilet. You have to open it very carefully, or you might break something and have to pay for it.
