Eight Venezia

Our stay at Palazzo Maria Formosa was exceptional. This boutique hotel is so stylish and beautiful. The location is close enough to all the major attractions but tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. You arrive and leave by water taxi and walk out onto Campo Maria Formosa which is very charming and leads you to roam the streets of Venice to explore. The rooms are clean and charming with great toiletries and a Dyson hairdryer. The bed is extremely comfortable. The breakfast is delicious with a lot of options. The staff really makes your stay special. Luca and everyone at reception are friendly and so helpful. Sara is a very special person. She is fun and so attentive. She served our breakfast in the morning and made cocktails for us in the afternoon. She makes sure the guests are happy. The best hotel to stay at in Venice.

This is an amazing hotel, deep with history and in a perfect beautiful location. There is no wonder why it is top rated. We went for a romantic trip and it’s perfect, the rooms are incredible overlooking the square. I’d recommend arriving via water taxi from the airport to add to the experience. Breakfast is out of this world. I’d highly recommend this hotel

We were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived, as if we had all met before. The staff here exemplify Italian hospitality. Luca and Atsuko at the front desk gave us great recommendations for meals and just some fun conversations, and Sara in the bar/restaurant has her goal to make you feel special. Absolutely 5 star service. Staff also speak English, Spanish and Japanese (and likely others). Rooms are huge and the bed had one of the best mattresses I've slept on in a long time (I'm Hilton Diamond and Titanium Bonvoy, so lots of hotels this year). Great breakfast, too. Campo Sa. Maria Formosa is beautiful and an area of Venice were you will see more Venetians than tourists (!!). Families walking, kids playing soccer, people sitting and enjoying a drink watching the crowd pass... and very easy to walk most anywhere in Venice from there. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent hotel, staff were great. Very friendly and offered recommendations for food and sightseeing. Room was very good, breakfast highly recommended!

Short weekend It’s a lovely, small hotel with a cool aesthetic. It’s crazy convenient and has the most comfortable bed.

Lovely Place ! The room and Breakfast are very nice, but the location is kind far from the station, you should take the water taxi to go over there. Apart from this, Everything is very well.

The hotel is beautiful and so quiet. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and nice. The breakfast was perfect. Our stay in Venice was a success due to this hotel. The air conditioning was superb. We would love to go back again.
