Badlands Frontier Cabins

Clean and perfect location after spending a long day in the park. I enjoyed being able to park the car right beside the cabin so it was easy to unpack and repack. I introduced the kids to cable too so it was a fun learning experience! I hope to stay longer next time!

The property is in very nice shape and very clean. The only problem we had was the water had a sulfur smell.

There is no staff support. We asked where the advertised breakfast was since there was non and got no reply. Asked for dinner recommendations and no reply. Asked why ‘double queen’ meant only one single bed and not two queens and no reply. Bed mis represented was major problem and the sleeper sofa was old and barely usable.

the interior was nice the bathroom large with great water pressure. It is near the freeway but the windows and walls are well insulated. Had to share a picnic table with cabin next door.

Our cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the hotel in general was in need of some maintenance. The air conditioner/heater was very noisy, the windows did not open and the sink was clogged and drained very slowly. The staff replaced towels and emptied trash every day but there was no real maid service. There was no pool or spa or breakfast. The cabin was nice enough but I feel it was way overpriced.

Seems that there is only one person taking care of the whole cabin complex with no front desk and the office is always locked. If a customer needs service, texting is the only way to get some attention. If that one-and-only staff is away, the customer will need to wait until she comes back many hours later. Only one-day coffee supply was given and there was no coffee replacement on the second day even with the staff coming in to take out the trash in the morning. I texted to ask for coffee supply in the afternoon and waited until 11pm to get it. I think the management should have more manpower in taking care of the whole complex.

The cabins were beautiful and clean. The only negative part to the cabin was the carpets needed to be carpet shampooed. My kids were barefoot and their feet looked as if they were outside walking in the dirt. Other than that it’s somewhere I would stay again.

I had ordered a 2-queen cabin and only received a 1 Queen and a fold out couch. I would like a slight refund if possible. I went back to the desk that night and there was no one available. Thanks.

From check in to checkout all was good and easy. Parking right next to your cabin. Clean spacious cabin with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and iron/ironing board. A nice couch, desk and chairs and table to relax at. Bed was comfortable and bathroom good sized and clean.
