Topnotch Resort

Highlights first: Definitely a top notch gym! The same for the views, the spa area, and the concierge. We really enjoyed the pools and it was good to have indoor and outdoor options. The staff and drinks at Flannel were great! Low lights: There needs to be more monitoring of kids’ behavior at the pool because the parents sure didn't set enough boundaries. Enforce no jumping, diving, and hot tubs for unaccompanied kids. The food at the restaurant (the Roost) was pretty mid and the least enjoyable part of our stay. The faucet in the shower/tub screeched like crazy when in shower mode. Overall: we’ll be back.

It’s been a few years since we have stayed at TopNotch. It’s less ‘TopNotch’ and in need of updating and significant renovation. Staff were super helpful and considerate - glad to see that that has not changed!

We had a really nice stay. The staff was ver helpful. Enjoyed the pool. gym outdoor hot tub. We love Stowe😀

The hotel shuttle was super easy to get to and from Stowe. Hotel is very nice but the rooms need updating. The warm cookies at the front desk are a nice touch after a day of skiing. The staff is very friendly.

The public areas of the property are very nice, spacious, clean & modern. Pool & restaurants are great. Rooms in major need of renovations (which I believe are planned for the summer of 2026).

I just want to say how unbelievably rude, off putting and un helpful the concierge is! I have never experienced such poor hospitality in all of my travels. Glaring at me as I approached her. So unwilling to offer any information besides a old marked up peice of paper with scratched out phone numbers. Not even a hello or welcome. As some who also works in hospitality I’ve never seen such a poor display in my career from any co workers either. If she hates her job so much she should quit instead on denying guests info in maximizing their experience in Stowe. You’re better off just googling because she is useless and beyond rude!

Shuttle to the mountain only runs every hour. Bathroom tubs don’t drain and the fire alarm went off every time we showered due to the steam. Pool and hot tub was crowded with kids. Housekeeping comes through at 5 PM right when you’re getting back to your room and want to relax after a day of skiing. Front desk seemed bothered whenever we had questions. Had a $30 cheese board with Pepperidge farm crackers.

Good location. Price (a holiday weekend) was a bit high for the condo which was clean but dated. We only used the hot tub and pool which was nice. Wish the ski shuttle was more frequent instead a small 11 person van that went to the mountain once an hour. Also, when asked about the parking at the mountain, I was told "it was a nightmare" but that wasn't then case even for a holiday weekend and Stowe offered free parking for cars with 4+ passengers. Would have been nice to know from the beginning.
