Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16

I bought this suite through a Ctrip group deal. The room was huge and had a very comfortable massage tub. Plus, there was a river view, so I could see both Macau and Shizimen on either side of the river. The breakfast spread was excellent, with plenty of options. I'll definitely be back!

First time staying here and it was a great experience 👍 Beautiful surroundings and a rich breakfast. I will definitely choose to stay at Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 again next time I visit Macau 🇲🇴.

The breakfast variety was quite good, the service attitude was pleasant, and the facilities were okay. However, the floor in the room's bathroom was not clean and made a squeaking sound when stepped on. There was a strange noise coming from the AC vent for some reason—is it unclean inside? I hope this can be improved. I would definitely stay here again, though.

On my previous two trips to Macau, I arrived by plane and stayed at the Conrad. This time, since my itinerary involved departing via the Gongbei Port, I decided to stay on the Macau Peninsula. It turned out to be unexpectedly wonderful! I had heard of Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16 before, but worried that because it's a bit older, the room facilities might be dated. However, the maintenance is exceptional, and the cleanliness is spot on. The bedding was very comfortable and relatively new, ensuring a great night's sleep 👍. We were also super lucky and got upgraded to the best two-bedroom suite! It was my first time staying in such a huge hotel room, and Ponte 16 will definitely be my top choice next time I visit Macau. It's extremely convenient for exploring the streets and historical architecture of the Peninsula, with a bus stop right downstairs. The location is fantastic, and I'm looking forward to my next stay!

The hotel kindly upgraded us to a large suite with two bedrooms and a living room, located in a newer building. The room smelled wonderful with Lanvin toiletries, and it featured a private jacuzzi with great privacy. We also had access to another ocean-facing swimming pool, which was better suited for adults. In the end, we used the hotel's shared pool facilities instead. That area has water sprays that the kids loved, though there weren't enough swim rings, so you might want to bring your own. Overall, it was a great experience.

The environment is clean and comfortable, the service is thoughtful and attentive, the rooms are tidy and spacious, the bedding is soft, and the soundproofing is good. The location is very convenient for getting around. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip. Highly recommended!
