Sitka Hotel and Restaurant

Did not get the type room I booked (booked a queen delux got a standard with a full bed), walls were paper thin, only half the buttons on the TV remote worked and only a few channels worked. Front desk attitude was "oh well, what are you gonna do." Housekeeping did not service the room.

Asked for room to be made up twice during my five night stay. It never happened.

Yes dirty.. no soap!! Televisions not working in all of hotel. Restaurant closed. No continental breakfast. A good guy behind the desk. Pitiful poor flophouse hotel

I had an excellent day the Front Desk person was awesome. I highly recommend this place.

No kitchen, no house keeping stayed a week, very limited staff on site

No TV the whole four days, restaurant closed bar closed cheesy breakfast amenities.. Very dated..

The room was big. The hotel shuttle is for all the hotels on the island so it can be a wait and does not run late. The hot water ran out through our shower we asked to use a shower in another room which they let us do but it also only lasted maybe half a shower. There was all the coffee supplies in our room but no coffee maker. There was no pull out bed as advertised in our room. The coffee in the lab by was old and definitely not made fresh, but after two cold showers I was willing to take everything. The restaurant next door is awesome and location to other places in town was good.

This was a last minute booking due to a flight issue. So we were very happy to find a place for the night. Check in went well. However, the TV in our room and our friends didn’t not work. Actually they were not plugged in or connected at all to the direct tv. In the morning the hot water ran out so some of us had cold showers. For a night in our situation this place had what we needed.

Staff nice and helpful. Close to services. I could never figure out how to operate the TV.
