Location is fine. Close by the casinos/Reno event conference, but no homeless. Check in staff was friendly. Room/bedding are consistent with my expectation on a Courtyard. I didn't use the swimming pool but noticed it is pretty small. Parking is $12 a day and in a structure across the street. Overall, it met my expectations and is good.

Great smoke-free hotel on the river
One night while we visit UNR. Good made to stay right on the river and walking distance to the campus and restaurants.

The staff was nice enough; however, the location was not ideal. Being directly across the street from the stadium means a lot of congestion and parking problems on game days. Since hotel guests have to pay extra for parking it is frustrating to have to experience this. In addition, at least until something is done about it, there are homeless people living on the riverbanks. The patio areas of the hotel, meant for guests to sit outside and relax on, back up to these riverbanks so it feels a little unsafe. Finally, while the downtown art area doesn't appear far on a map, it is. You have to walk several blocks to get to it, which isn't always fun in the Nevada heat.

The hotel was nice, but parking, shared with a local baseball park, was difficult. I had to park in the general area on the first level. When trying to leave the next morning, the rude parking attendant would not let me walk to my car. He said I had to take the elevator, which started on Level 2. With my car on Level 1, I and my friend had to climb over a cement wall to get to our car with our luggage. I am 72 years old, and climbing over a wall with luggage to get to my car is ridiculous!

Hotel was nice. Room was lovely. Restaurant staff didn’t speak English and food was good, but orders were inaccurate. Our room was “river front” but the view included a view of a few homeless encampments.
