Kimpton Nine Trees Shanghai

After watching a show at the Jiukeshu Performance Center, I stayed at the Kimpton next door. The hotel is relatively new and has several buildings, each with a unique design. It offers both outdoor and indoor pools, as well as a small park for pets. Before checking in, a hotel staff member proactively added me on WeChat. Len provided attentive and thoughtful service.

I've stayed at the Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou before, and it was also pet-friendly. So, as expected, the Kimpton Nine Trees was even better than anticipated! ˆ☺ˆ Overall, it's a designer hotel where each building blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. The rooms can cater to different needs. As a pet-friendly hotel, not only do the rooms with courtyards have direct access to a small lawn, but every staff member is also incredibly friendly to dogs~ The restaurant food is also delicious. Besides Kimpton's signature happy hour, both the Chinese restaurant and breakfast are very tasty 🥰 The hotel service is consistently excellent, from the front desk to the restaurant, housekeeping, and our butler, Kevin – you can feel the attentiveness and warmth in their service. It's also very convenient to drive there from downtown Shanghai! There's even a forest park opposite the hotel, perfect for cycling 🚴🏻‍♀️! I highly recommend it to friends looking for a vacation or a weekend getaway, especially families with pets – it's a must-visit! I'll be back, and I hope they'll open family suites to pet families next time ૭😌૭

Chose the Kimpton Shanghai Nine Trees for our anniversary, and the experience far exceeded expectations. The natural, healing ambiance was wonderful, the room was comfortable with skin-friendly bedding, and the restaurant served delicious food. I booked this hotel to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and they even prepared a complimentary cake for us. Overall, it was a great experience. It's very close and convenient when coming across the river via the Hongmei Road Tunnel. Since the hotel is newly opened, all the facilities are in great condition and very well-equipped. The parking lot is quite large with free parking and plenty of EV charging piles—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway from downtown to Fengxian.

The room was very clean and the environment was pleasant. The lobby staff helped with our luggage, and check-in at the front desk was efficient with a free room upgrade. Liya was lovely and provided responsive communication throughout. When my child wanted watermelon in the evening, the restaurant gave us some for free. There is also a kids' club with interactive pets.

We stayed in a glamping tent, and the layout of the facilities was simply stunning. The camping gear provided was extremely well-equipped, and once you crawled inside the tent, you just didn't want to come out. The huge deep-soaking bathtub gave the wonderful feeling of a private hot spring. This is by far the most satisfied I've ever been with a stay, and I'll definitely come back again if given the chance.

Staying at this hotel for a vacation in Fengxian, I was truly charmed by the surrounding environment. Both the scenery and the hotel's facilities were major pluses. I chose this place because it was advertised as pet-friendly. However, pets are only allowed in the guest rooms and their small private gardens, not in other public areas of the hotel. I understand this might be due to city policies, but it was a slight disappointment. The staff were mostly young, energetic, and quite good-looking. As it's a new hotel, many service details still need to be refined and improved. I'm confident that as operations mature, the experience will get much better, and it's something to look forward to. One thing I found quite baffling: I booked through Ctrip, and I couldn't earn points on the InterContinental Hotels app. Why can't I earn points when I've spent money, just like any other guest?

Five-star review! I absolutely love this hotel. Check-in was smooth, no waiting at all. The pool was clean and not crowded. The room layout was well-designed, and the bedding was comfortable. There are green plants everywhere, which creates a refreshing and pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast is served until 11:30 AM, perfect for sleeping in and enjoying a leisurely meal. The quality and variety were excellent. I was surprised that even on the first day of the National Day holiday, it wasn't crowded anywhere. The experience was fantastic! It truly embodies the spirit of the Nine Trees Art Center!
