We've stayed at many great hotels in the area. When I saw this new high-end hotel on Ctrip, especially with the 'Kimpton' brand backing it, and at a reasonable price, I completely trusted it. I bought a pre-sale voucher, which was a great deal, to treat my good friends. They are also 'hotel-aholics' and were very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel. The hotel's exterior and interior design and craftsmanship are absolutely beautiful. Even though it just opened, there was no new renovation smell. The service from all departments was excellent. Customer service representative Liya Zhou was very dedicated. As soon as we booked, she immediately followed up on everything, ensuring all our requests were met. She even helped us connect and coordinate our needs on a non-working day. We are older, and she was very considerate of my age, for which I am very grateful.

This hotel is incredibly stylish and has a wonderful ambiance. The environment is comfortable, the room is very spacious, and the facilities are comprehensive, making for a truly pleasant stay. The breakfast is also rich and excellent. All the hotel staff were welcoming with smiles and provided thoughtful and attentive service. A special thank you to Marianna, who was so meticulous and caring; she even managed to arrange things perfectly despite our unreasonable requests. If I had to rate it, this hotel easily gets a 98 out of 100 – almost perfect!

The hotel staff were all excellent. The front desk always greeted us with a smile and polite service, and they were great at listening to our needs and responding promptly. Although it's a new hotel and some facilities still need improvement, like the minibar lighting in the room that couldn't be turned off due to a design wiring issue (which affected our rest), and the kids' club only being open on weekends for now, the overall hotel environment and hardware were very satisfactory. The dining experience was generally good, though the Chinese restaurant had few private rooms and seemed a bit understaffed. This might improve later. However, the restaurant staff had a great attitude. A special shout-out goes to Coco from Guest Relations. She contacted us the day before our arrival to ask about our check-in needs, and any issues we had during our stay were quickly resolved. She even thoughtfully prepared a handwritten card and cake for guests celebrating birthdays, making us feel the hotel's genuine hospitality and care! The hotel's design is sophisticated and artistic; the lobby and corridors offer photo opportunities everywhere. Right outside, you'll find the Nine Trees Art Center, perfect for a leisurely stroll or catching an exhibition. I stayed in a forest-view room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking lush greenery. The room had excellent soundproofing, comfortable bedding, and thoughtful details like organic toiletries, a yoga mat, and a capsule coffee machine, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep. My dedicated butler, Liya, provided attentive and meticulous service throughout my stay, responding promptly to all my needs 👍 The dining options were plentiful. The breakfast buffet offered a refined selection of delicious items. The Chinese restaurant served fresh and tasty Jiangnan-style fusion dishes. In the evening, the cave bar had a fantastic ambiance, and the complimentary daily evening social hour was a great bonus. The hotel is fully equipped with a heated swimming pool, a gym, a healing spa, and a kids' club, ensuring there wasn't a dull moment during my three-day trip. The service was relaxed and thoughtful, without any rigid formalities. It's a convenient 40-minute drive from the city, ideal for escaping the urban bustle and unwinding. It's suitable for couples, families with children, and even guests with pets. Definitely my top choice for a suburban healing getaway, and I'm already planning my second visit.

The hotel architecture and the ambiance of the grounds are fantastic, with great overall design and greenery that really stands out. However, throughout my stay, it was clear that the hotel opened in a rush, and the supporting facilities and staff in various departments haven't been properly coordinated. During my check-in, I encountered several issues, but fortunately, Nancy handled them perfectly. She immediately helped me switch rooms and followed up on all my needs during my stay. Her genuine service attitude greatly alleviated the overall negative experience. Downsides: There's a persistent unpleasant odor in the hotel's public areas. The guest room corridors and elevators have poor ventilation, leading to a stuffy smell that's hard to dissipate, making prolonged stays uncomfortable. The staff in the breakfast restaurant and gym completely lack service awareness; they don't proactively notice guests' needs. Perhaps the hotel is too large, and they are understaffed. There's a clear lack of management oversight on-site, and guests have to resolve various minor issues themselves. The dining area is cramped, and many food items are consistently out of stock. Drinks, hot dishes, pastries, and fruits frequently run empty, and the staff's refilling speed can't keep up with the flow of guests. The food preparation also lacks attention to detail; custom orders can't be made according to guests' preferences, and cutlery and condiment bottles are often missing. There's basically no dedicated staff member patrolling and replenishing throughout. The evening complimentary 'happy hour' area is small and crowded. Snacks and fruits are quickly taken after being put out, and despite checking repeatedly, there were no refills. Only one staff member was responsible for the entire area during that time, completely overwhelmed. It was also a complete surprise that the hotel mini-bar charges for items, which is a letdown compared to other Kimpton properties. Overall, while the hotel's landscaping and interior design have unique advantages, it's plagued by issues like staff shortages, disappointing F&B, insufficient facility maintenance, and cut corners on amenities. It's still a long way from the high-end service standards expected from the Kimpton brand. I hope they can improve the details.

So lucky! I became the 'top player' at the Kimpton Qiaotou Art Center Hotel! As a parent who loves taking my kids to hotels, I was so excited! It's so close to home! A 10-minute drive, and we can switch into vacation mode with the kids. **Environment**: The transportation is very convenient, right next to the Qiaotou Art Center. It's perfect for families with kids if you're coming for a show or exploring the Shanghai Fish area. The hotel has many outdoor areas, including a beautiful 'mini Monet garden' that really touched me with its details. Fengxian truly excels in its ecological efforts. On rainy days, you can see small snails and frogs, and the kids loved exploring. You can even spot small hedgehogs on the roads around Shanghai Fish. **Facilities**: For family trips, the children's needs are paramount. The hotel has an indoor children's pool. We booked a courtyard hot spring room and got upgraded to a suite. We confirmed with the butler a day in advance that we had two kids, and they thoughtfully prepared children's toiletries and slippers. This attention to detail was truly impressive. The room also had a small step stool and a sink for babies. Due to time constraints, it's a bit of a shame we didn't get to experience the small climbing wall in the children's center or the late-night bar time for parents. **Service**: I have to say, the service is top-notch! Especially our butler, Miss Zhou Ling, who was incredibly gentle and patient. Also, the ladies in the Chinese restaurant were so thoughtful; when our baby fell asleep during dinner, they kindly rearranged the order of dishes. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious. Because our baby was particularly mischievous, the front desk attendant was quick to provide a first-aid kit to disinfect a small wound. In the afternoon, there was a 'social highlight' with juice and cookies, which the babies loved. The evening turndown service attendant was also very kind, and there were afternoon tea snacks, welcome fruits, and cookies. **Hygiene**: It was visibly very clean, which is a big concern with a baby, especially regarding hand hygiene. The toilet layout was quite reasonable. I just wish there were tissues on the tables in the restaurant. The Chinese restaurant had quite a few mosquitoes in the evening, so I hope that can be improved. Even with the electric mosquito repellent plugged in, the mosquitoes in the room were quite resilient. Two small frogs suddenly appeared in the hot spring pool at night, which made the children very sad. I also hope they can add more trash cans in the wet areas of the room. Highly recommended! Highly recommended! Highly recommended! Easy to manage the kids, freeing up your hands – the experience is definitely excellent! The only thing that felt a bit lacking was the all-day dining buffet breakfast. The yogurt selection was a bit repetitive, and the wontons didn't taste particularly fresh. I'm a big food lover. The pizza was creative and unique, perfect for adults. Perhaps my baby was too young for spicy food. The pasta, however, was quite good.

New hotel, still room for improvement, but Liya the butler provided excellent service.
