Travelodge Nimman

Perfect location, right in the heart of Nimman Road. Step outside and you're surrounded by popular restaurants and massage parlors. Maya shopping mall is also just a short walk away. The room was clean and tidy, with good hot water pressure and powerful air conditioning. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and helpful, even allowing us to store our luggage. Excellent value for money!

The hotel is spread across several buildings. The internal facilities are relatively new and clean. Since we had a child with us, we paid extra on the spot to upgrade to a larger room with a bigger bed, which made accessing the pool very convenient. The breakfast was plentiful. The location is a bit out of the way; you definitely need to call a car to get around. Walking to One Nimman is quite a distance, and while it's walkable, the roadside can be a bit complicated.

The front desk service was excellent, very friendly and welcoming. The room was also clean and hygienic. Overall, the service and price were very satisfying. If I have the chance to visit Chiang Mai again, I'll definitely choose this hotel first!

The hotel is clean and hygienic, and there's a shuttle bus to the airport in the morning, which is very convenient!

I booked a standard twin room with breakfast for three nights at 330 RMB per night, and a superior king room with breakfast for one night at 410 RMB. The breakfast was very mediocre, and the rooms were small, even the king room wasn't spacious. There was indeed airplane noise at night, but it stopped after 2 AM. However, it started again around 6 or 7 AM. The rooftop pool offered great views. Unfortunately, it was cloudy during our entire stay, and the water was too cold to swim in. All the staff members were very friendly.

The hotel is quite close to the airport and is a large property. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent; you can't hear any airplane noise, which is a big plus. It offers decent value for money. However, getting around usually requires taking a taxi or waiting for the hotel's complimentary shuttle, which can be quite crowded.

The hotel has several buildings (T1-T4 are connected, T6-T7 are connected). Check-in is at T2, breakfast is at T3, and the swimming pool is at T1. When I booked, I requested to be placed in T3 for easier access to breakfast, but I ended up in T7 because the room type I chose (the cheapest twin room) was located in T6 and T7. However, after staying there, I found that walking from T7 to T3 for breakfast every day wasn't actually that far. Plus, T7 is close to the exit, making it a short walk to 7-Eleven or Nimman Road. Every staff member at the hotel was incredibly warm, polite, and accommodating. They even proactively offered me a golf cart ride from T2 to T7 when they saw me struggling with my luggage. The hotel also provides a free tuk-tuk service for pick-up and drop-off at three designated locations. After checking out, we wanted the tuk-tuk to take us to Nimman One. The front desk registered our request, but after waiting for over ten minutes without a tuk-tuk, a staff member immediately drove us there in a car. This level of service was truly heartwarming. The room was also quite clean. They don't proactively provide combs or toothbrushes/toothpaste, but you can ask the hotel for them. The hotel breakfast is a buffet with a decent selection, enough to satisfy. The watermelon was very sweet, and the stir-fried rice noodles were delicious! Minor drawbacks: 1. The hotel doesn't have a free laundry room, which is inconvenient for guests who need to do laundry. However, there's a laundry shop nearby (EM's Laundry), which is an easy walk from T7. It costs 80 Thai Baht/kg, and after washing and folding (24 hours later), they will deliver it to the T7 front desk. There are also some coin-operated self-service laundromats nearby, but the washing and drying machines there are separate, requiring you to wait until the washing cycle is complete. 2. The water pressure in the shower wasn't quite strong enough. 3. The hotel's swimming pool is a bit small. For a hotel with so many buildings and guests, the pool area is clearly insufficient. Moreover, the pool is on the fourth floor of T1, which is quite a walk from T7. There's actually a lot of empty space next to the pool, and I hope they can use that area to expand the pool.

Cher at the front desk was excellent! She arranged an early check-in and late check-out for us, and her Chinese was fantastic, making communication a breeze. The room was clean and smelled lovely, and breakfast was delicious. There was someone to help with our luggage, and they offered free tuk-tuk service to Nimmanhaemin Road and Maya mall, among other places. Highly recommended! 👍🏻

The service was excellent; all the staff were warm and cheerful. This hotel offers great value for money, and I didn't find it noisy even though I stayed in T2. For breakfast, I'd suggest offering a wider variety of main dishes.
