Jumeirah Guangzhou

I specifically stayed near the Grand Theatre to watch a play and discovered this hidden gem of a hotel! My experience these past few days was fantastic. First and foremost, cleanliness and a comfortable bed are my top priorities when choosing a hotel, and this one delivered! Secondly, the location is superb! Everything is pretty much within walking distance, which I love. I enjoy exploring a new city on foot, but not having to walk too far is a bonus. Song Chuan Cuisine is right next door in Dong Plaza, and Bingsheng Mansion is just a few minutes' walk away. You can cross the skybridge to enter K11 opposite, then take the Kaihua skybridge down to Bingsheng – it's nice and cool walking through the mall. From the 3rd floor of Dong Plaza, you can take a walkway to Qiu Plaza, then catch the APM line for a few minutes to Tianhuan Plaza. The hotel service was excellent; they delivered fruit and sweet soup daily. The dried tangerine peel and hawthorn sweet soup was deliciously tart and sweet! The seasonal floral arrangements everywhere were also beautiful. Since there were so many great restaurants nearby, I only tried the hotel's lunch desserts, and they were all delicious. The hotel's pastry chef must be very talented. Next time, I'll definitely try their afternoon tea, which I'm sure will be great.

In the luxury hotel landscape of Guangzhou, Jumeirah has always been a understated player. It doesn't perch atop Guangzhou like Rosewood or Four Seasons, dominating with commanding tower views, nor does it possess the trending ambiance or master designs of Park Hyatt or Mandarin Oriental. Yet, without vying for attention, it consistently garners many excellent reviews. I found its overall appeal to be comprehensive, warm, and attentive. I booked a unique duplex suite, but upon arrival at 4 PM, no room was immediately available. Instead of making me wait, the front desk immediately offered an upgrade to a two-level higher, Guangzhou Tower View Executive Suite. This initial upgrade was a pleasant surprise. James from the hotel explained their service philosophy to me, and I truly felt that sense of care and service dedication towards guests. My 03-ending tower view suite was very spacious and well-laid out. The tower view was glimpsed through the gaps of the APM building, offering a somewhat veiled, 'pipa half-hidden' charm compared to a direct view of the Canton Tower. While the room's design isn't as distinct as MO or Rosewood, it prioritizes comfort, featuring wood, lattice, and orange accents that are still very appealing and comfortable. The service was a highlight. From the doormen, lobby staff, front desk, to housekeeping, everyone was polite and smiling. Guest relations added me on WeChat and responded quickly. When I asked the gym front desk staff about the outdoor pool, they didn't just point the way; they enthusiastically escorted me, taking the elevator, changing floors, and walking through an entire floor to the apartment's outdoor pool. The harp performance during breakfast was indeed delightful, and while the food variety wasn't extensive, it was exquisite. Overall, Jumeirah truly surprised me this time, adding another excellent option for my Guangzhou staycations.

I stayed at the hotel with my child over the weekend, specifically for the outdoor pool! So, after checking in, we headed straight there! First, I was quite impressed with the hotel staff's attitude. Before our arrival, knowing we were traveling with a child, they helped set up a small tent in the room, which my child really liked! The rooms are all above the 50th floor, spacious, and have great views! The only minor downsides, in my opinion, are that the bathroom lighting is a bit dim and the hot water takes a while to come on; I had to wait a few minutes for hot water in the shower! The outdoor pool isn't very big, and it wasn't crowded, but it's a bit of a walk to get there, and you have to pass through the banquet hall! This design seems a bit unreasonable... My child and I had already changed into our swimsuits and bathrobes in the room, planning to go straight to the pool. We didn't realize we'd have to walk through the banquet hall, where there was a wedding party setting up, with bridesmaids and groomsmen everywhere. Walking through the middle of them was truly mortifying! So embarrassing... I think if this is the case, guests should be informed at check-in; otherwise, it really detracts from the experience!

During the booking confirmation stage, the customer service representative, Chelsea, was very patient and answered all my questions. Considering my visit to the provincial museum, she thoughtfully arranged a 2:30 PM late check-out for me. The room was also prepared with a single bed rail as requested, children's toiletries, and a fun setup for a little boy. Upon check-in, Sophia provided excellent service without being intrusive, never showing up in person. Besides the complimentary sweet soup, she even helped print my child's forgotten homework. Thumbs up!👍 The hotel reception and room staff were all very welcoming and provided attentive service. The outdoor swimming pool water quality was also excellent, making for a refreshing swim!

Let me start with my overall impression. As someone from Sanya, Hainan, who has traveled to Guangzhou, I've stayed in many five-star hotels of various brands since childhood. Jumeirah, however, stands out as the most comfortable hotel with the best service I've ever experienced, bar none. Its location is excellent, near Guangzhou Tower. Just a few hundred meters walk through an underpass from the entrance leads to Huacheng Plaza, and a bit further is Haixinsha Park. All the staff, both men and women, were incredibly handsome and beautiful – a treat for the eyes! During check-in, they offered me a cup of tea, and I was able to sit throughout the process, handled by two lovely receptionists. The staff member who helped me with my package delivery was very professional and attentive, gentle and kind, and handsome too. The butler was attentive and responsive to every request, contacting me a day before my arrival. The background music in the lobby and restaurant was delightful, perfectly matching the hotel's style. The high ceilings in the rooms are a signature feature, and the decor is understated yet luxurious. The sunset and night views were absolutely stunning. Every evening, staff delivered complimentary sweet soup and welcome fruits, which were delicious. The only minor letdown was breakfast. Perhaps everything else was so exceptional that the breakfast seemed ordinary in comparison. Although the variety was somewhat limited, the quality of the dishes was exquisite, so I still give it a big thumbs up! I'll definitely bring my family to experience it next time. **Facilities:** Well-maintained and very new, with a modern decor that I absolutely loved. **Hygiene:** Clean, at least my room was. **Environment:** It allowed me to relax and get a good night's sleep. Before coming here, work and life stresses made it impossible for me to sleep soundly. But here, I had a two-hour nap and still managed to sleep eight hours at night. The bedding was excellent. I had been suffering from cervical spondylosis, but after a bath and a good sleep, I felt completely recovered.

Stayed here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The hotel has a chic black, gold, and wood-themed design. The room had excellent soundproofing and blackout curtains. The service was professional and well-balanced, and our butler, Yuki, was very responsive and provided timely reminders. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay; it truly felt like an urban oasis.

Hands down the best hotel in Guangzhou! Food delivery right to your room, and the in-room dining is top-notch! The service is excellent! I'll definitely be staying here often!

I stayed for two nights. On the first day, there was no welcome fruit and no spa voucher. The next morning, I found an unknown hair in my pork knuckle rice breakfast. I travel so much for work throughout the year and have stayed in all sorts of hotels, big and small, but this was a first. The hotel only sent a fruit platter to the room as an apology, and Trip.com didn't even try to get any compensation for the customer.
