The hotel is quite old, the room facilities are outdated, and the cleanliness is average. The breakfast is also average, but it's considered relatively good for this small town, especially since we came during peak season and all the rooms were full. After checking in, we found that one bed's bedding wasn't made. The receptionist came several times to get the bedding, and then we had to make the bed ourselves. There's nothing we could do since there's no housekeeping staff on duty at night.

I am sorry to have to give the Quality Inn a poor rating. The property is fresh, clean, and well located for a visit to Tanglewood. However, the bed was probably the most uncomfortable my wife and I have ever experienced in a hotel. The mattress was hard, lumpy, and so thin that you could feel the bed structure under it. I did not mind paying a premium for a room convenient to Tanglewood on July 4, but a bad mattress spoiled what would otherwise have been a decent stay.

We enjoyed our visit to the Inn. It was close to all the events, Tanglewood, and destinations, hiking and waterfall, we wanted to explore.

All in all, it was a good value, but there was a male employee who was working when I checked in and whose behavior was similar to multiple people. I was ignored for over 10 minutes while he spoke on the phone. He issued me a card without asking for my ID and when I brought multiple packages in on a carrier, he gave me a second floor room where there’s no elevator. He was indifferent. he ignored us and I didn’t appreciate that.

Hot water in room took literally 10 minutes to heat up. Be forewarned that if you plan to sleep past 10am they start vacuuming the hallways outside your room around 9:30.

I like this place. Easy in. Easy out.
Breakfast has good variety. Regular & decaf coffee. Orange juice, 2% & skim milk. Raisin Bran & Frosted Flakes. Sausage, egg & cheese on English muffin sandwiches. Hot self-cooked waffles. A few kinds of sweet breads.
Makes a fast getaway possible without going hungry.

This motel is a bit dated but well maintained. We plugged the toilet right off. Maintenance was there within 15 minutes to resolve the problem. The is no elevator, and you have to heave your luggage up a flight of stairs if room is on the second floor. Friendly staff, decent breakfast. Overall, we were satisfied with our one night stay.
