The Resort at Glade Springs

There are so many activities to do inside the resort gates. I felt comfortable letting my younger teen kids explore using the shuttle or walking to the areas on their own. We loved the Pool, Leisure Center, sport courts, or just walking the golf courses trails to relax. Very clean, safe, and friendly. Restaurant and Hotel Breakfast meals were great. The hotel itself was obviously built a while ago and there are hints of the age but most of the hotel has been remodeled or well maintained. Small building maintenance would be my only criticism of the Main Hotel.

Once upon a time I am sure this place was really nice. We stayed for a golf event, otherwise I would not stay here. We stayed in the executive suite area. The room was outdated and the pullout couch was very worn, torn, broken and uncomfortable. Our smoke alarm battery was old, so it was beeping. The buildings in general could use some upkeep. The room was very overpriced.

Breakfast was excellent! The breakfast hostess, she was amazing, great customer service. Over all, these hotel did not disappoint, clean and well maintained.

Loved our stay only change was Buffett breakfast was a little cool not quite warm but everything else was a 10/10

I have been going to Glade Springs for at least 20 years on my many trips from our home in Michigan to our beach house in SC. The amenities at this resort are great! Beautiful golf courses which make terrific places to stretch your legs after a long drive, a great bar/restaurant for an easy dinner, both indoor and outdoor pools if you have kids with you, plus lots of other activities and amenities. The problem I have have with Glade Springs is that they have not updated their rooms in about the same amount of time. We usually stay in a pet friendly Executive Suite, and I think the same stains I noticed on the couch have been there for the last 10 years. The wall paper is starting to peel, the TV's are ancient, the bath room needs an update (or at least re-glazing the tub), and the carpets need a good cleaning. This resort has so much potential, a little elbow grease and some new furniture would go a long way!

Clean room. Very relaxing atmosphere. Really excellent workout facilities and pool. Looking forward to our next visit.

The room was dirty, old, poorly decorated, just felt gross. I even asked for newly updated room and she gave it to me. We were asked to leave the gym and facilities that we had planned to use because it was "peak time" for other homeowner guests in the association and hotel did not rectify it. Someone complained me and my family were "too loud" at like 7pm while we were playing cards and laughing (walls too thin maybe?). Hotel did not serve breakfast the third day w/out notice, housekeeping only cleaned once out of 3 days. I would NOT stay here again, ski lift was still 20 min drive.

We do not like we got charged 30 dollars for breakfast and it was free

The room was a great set up with the seperate bedroom for adults and the kids sleep on the couch. However, the couch was not comfortable for them. The shower drain was broken so water drained slowly and the water pressure ******. The Bunker's food quality declined quite a bit since last year. Great location for Winterplace, but don't expect good food.
