The Resort at Glade Springs

Badly in need of renovations. The “executive suite” room was dark and gloomy and had stains on the couch. The doors and woodwork were worn and dirty. A fresh coat of paint and a two minute cleaning of the porch would have done wonders for the experience

We loved the property. Interior halls could be cleaner. Breakfast just ok. We did not like the food . We ordered to room is was ok. Not cooked all the way. But place was nice and area around hotel was nice.

Restaurant in the lodge is breakfast only 7 to 10. Property is older and musty. The room in the first floor was noisy. Heard everyone and everything 24/7. All other amenities and activities are in separate buildings all around the property. Restaurant, gym, pool, spa etc.. Shuttle is available. BUT this is really for golfers or hikers. This is not for the elderly. I was disappointed and checked out early.

Beautiful setting and grounds. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful. Breakfast although included, was just ok. Hot items were exactly the same 3 days in a row. Also those hot items, eggs, bacon, potatos and sausage were on 2 days of stay not even warm! Piled high in chaffers but cold throughout. Breakfast crew was basically inattentive. I realize it was buffet but zero clearing plates and no talk at all. Executive Suites were ok. Several things amiss. Room phone was broken. Resort "out" of Kleenex. Iron was unusable because of burned on dirt? Replacement iron leaked terribly and also not usable. In unit lighting very poor. The furniture was badly outdated and couch so uncomfortable it was basically not used. Overall the resort was nice to visit and we enjoyed the stay. The Leisure Center was great! Lots to do there and very nicely maintained. No extra charge for most amenities there. Had a very good dinner at the Glades Grill and a very kind and attentive server-- Jennifer--kudos! And Chef and Sous visited our table, a nice touch. Adrianna in Bunkers also very attentive and friendly. We will return and just hope the suites are much improved. I am not a social app person and really don't complain. But since you asked I have given my thoughts. Thank you Tom and Andrea. July 8-11

Unfortunately the indoor pool was closed during my stay as well as one of the restaurants as it is only open on weekends. My tv in room was not working and was fixed within a day. (Didn’t really need it)

Good spot if you want a pool and go hiking in the area. The breakfast was delicious and we stayed in the hotel room building which was adequate and relaxing. We enjoyed the pool and ordered food which was tasty.

Loved this place. Very quiet, pool was heated and big, Breakfast was excellent. Could easily walk anywhere. I didn’t get to golf. The only negative was that it took over an hour to get our meal after ordering at Bunkers Sports Bar. They were not busy and the bartender was of no help. I didn’t have time to play golf.

Disappointed that the indoor pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance, but the grounds were beautiful and we really enjoyed breakfast. We don’t play golf but we did enjoy the sauna and disc golf course. Not too far from the National Park, and enjoyed seeing the deer daily. There’s one restaurant that doesn’t require a dress code and it was a long wait, so ended up eating outside the property.
