Hotel de Crillon A Rosewood Hotel

The room was tiny and outdated, and while the bathroom had a wet/dry separation, the marble was cracked and the fixtures were in poor condition, including the outlets. Everything felt old and cramped, and the bedding was just mediocre. The bathroom was especially old-fashioned, from the showerhead to the sink faucet. The lobby and restaurant, however, were impressive, and the pictures do show a beautiful ground floor, fitting for a historic mansion. The location was great and the service was excellent; any issues we brought up were addressed immediately. However, they couldn't fix the fact that the rooms themselves are genuinely old and the facilities are in bad shape. For the same price, I'd recommend The Peninsula – their rooms are much larger and feature five-star amenities, and even though it's a 2014 hotel, it's clearly better maintained. This might be the worst Rosewood I've ever stayed in. I always thought Rosewood was a no-brainer for a super-luxury hotel, both in terms of service and rooms, but this hotel is just too old. Those with high standards for hotels and rooms should definitely think twice before booking here. It was a terrible stay for me; the bathroom was old, dirty, and smelled bad.

There were blood stains on the pillow! I only discovered it late at night after getting back from being out. I called the hotel and they only changed the pillow. Sigh. 🤦♂️

Fantastic location, impeccable service, and spacious rooms. It's a luxurious experience in a classic building. We were there during a Paris heatwave, and the air conditioning was more than sufficient. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the bar on the first floor had a great atmosphere. Compared to Cheval Blanc, Rosewood perfectly blends classic and modern elements in its location, decor, and service. 👍

The service exceeded my expectations! It was my husband's birthday, and the hotel specially decorated the room with balloons, birthday wishes, some champagne, and a cake! They helped with parking and gave us bottled water and chewing gum before we left!

The location is great, but prices were quite high due to the National Day holiday coinciding with Fashion Week. The service was exceptional. We casually mentioned the noise in the courtyard to the restaurant staff, and the young woman immediately contacted the front desk. They promptly changed our room, showing great consideration for our guests' comfort.

It's still pretty good; in many ways, it's worth the price. The room service was exceptionally attentive, which left a particularly strong impression. However, the hotel breakfast is really poor value for money; I wouldn't recommend buying breakfast there.
