Ciragan Palace Kempinski Istanbul

I booked a sea view room, and the Bosphorus Strait view was truly stunning. The hotel facilities are excellent. While the restaurant prices are higher than outside, the food quality is significantly better, making it worth it. The breakfast spread is rich and varied. All in all, you get what you pay for here; this hotel is the pinnacle in Turkey – it doesn't get any better than this.

I've lived long enough to have stayed in dozens of five-star hotels, but I've never been so disgusted! I spent tens of thousands to stay at this hotel for the 'royal palace experience' they heavily advertised, only to realize I paid good money to be miserable. I paid extra to upgrade my room and ate all three meals at the hotel's most expensive restaurants, Rüya and Tuğra, simply because I trusted the Kempinski brand. I'd stayed at their branches in Tanzania, Shenzhen, and St. Petersburg before and thought there was at least a basic standard. But this Çırağan Palace completely dragged the brand's reputation through the mud! For two whole days, the core historical palace and gardens were entirely booked for a private wedding, completely cordoned off. Hotel guests weren't allowed even half a step inside. When we tried to take a look, security guards, upon seeing Asians, rushed over like ** to block us. Their eyes and tone were like they were interrogating criminals, practically wanting to shove us out! We were the ones who paid tens of thousands to stay here, yet the wedding guests from outside were treated like gods, and we became the outsiders being driven away? Treating paying guests as invisible and loyal members as beggars – is this Kempinski's service standard? I complained to the front desk and spoke with my agent, and the responses I got were absolutely shocking: 'The contract doesn't guarantee palace access,' and 'Security was just doing their job.' So, you use the palace for your high-priced advertising, but when we pay to stay, we can't even get in? Isn't this blatant fraud? Even more ridiculous, there wasn't a single apology or any attempt to rectify the situation from start to finish. They just played dumb and used word games. How can such a bottom-feeding, consumer-deceiving hotel still call itself a luxury brand? And for such a big brand, they don't even have a headquarters complaint email address. I genuinely advise everyone: don't come here! Anyone who comes will regret it, anyone who comes will get scammed! Wouldn't it be better to spend that money at another five-star hotel with a newer, more convenient location? Coming here to be treated poorly is pure ****! The Kempinski brand is completely blacklisted for me from now on; I will never touch it again!

A luxurious and elegant hotel, it felt like staying in a palace. After 6 pm, you can walk from the hotel to visit the adjacent Chela Palace. The hotel bedding was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Afternoon tea and fruit were provided, and the mini-bar was complimentary. The breakfast selection was abundant; there wasn't enough to try everything! The service was attentive, and the experience was excellent. There's an outdoor swimming pool, and the hotel's back garden is right next to the Bosphorus Strait. Sitting on the swings, gazing at the beautiful scenery and palaces, was truly a wonderful experience. The best hotel of the trip 🏨, I'll never forget it.
