The Kindler Hotel

We enjoyed our three day stay at The Kindler Hotel very much. We were in town for a family wedding and for our purposes the location was optimal. The facilities were clean and appealing and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. We would stay again despite the following: 1) The bathroom vanity in our room was quite small as was the bathroom overall but, for us, workable, 2) The air conditioner was a bit loud when it cycled on, as is the case in many hotels, but in terms of keeping the room cool and comfortable it worked just fine, and 3) I found myself wishing the bed included a variety of pillows as some hotels do. I personally found the pillows to be too thick and too firm, however, I am not a large person so I imagine they might be fine for many. These are admittedly relatively minor observations and neither would deter us from staying at The Kindler Hotel again.

The hotel was lovely overall. The people at the front desk were amazing. I was disappointed with the pillows though. They are hard and bulky! I’m used to a down pillow . I had to lay my head in my bathrobe instead leading to a not so good nights sleep. We are driving from Colorado to Wisconsin..so a good night sleep would have been extremely nice. Also, site says robes and slippers..there were not slippers. Not a big deal but thought I would mention. Overall, the hotel is very nice, quiet and quaint.

We received a warm welcome from the courteous staff and love the ability to park directly in front of the hotel and select valet parking. We let the front desk know when we planned to check out and our car was ready and waiting for us. The room is spacious with a very comfortable bed and large walk-in shower. The bathroom even had heated floors. Whenever we are in Lincoln we choose to stay here.

Will absolutely stay here again. From the moment we walked in til we left the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Our room was clean and we loved the heated floors. Can’t recommend it enough.

This is just a phenomenally well put together property in the heart of downtown lincoln.

The Kindler Hotel is simply the best hotel in Lincoln, hands-down. Quite honestly, there’s not a close second. Spotlessly clean, timeless decor, super friendly/attentive staff. Just wish they weren’t so freaking expensive over game day weekends, or it would be my automatic go-to. Also wish they would be a little more accommodating for late checkouts (especially since their check-in isn’t till 4 PM), but I understand the cleaning staff has a job to do also. Despite these two minor complaints, it’s still merits of five star, simply based on it overall awesomeness.

The staff came outside to greet us, check-in was quick and efficient. The two individuals working the front desk were very personable and helpful. Elevator was secure and quiet, hallway immaculate as was the room. Bed very comfortable, large shower, even a heated bathroom floor. Snacks, drinks, including wine were available to purchase in the room. Tea and coffee maker also available. Quiet and luxurious, not one complaint. And, Lied Performing Arts Center a short walk across the street. We give the Kindler 5+++ stars.
