Hilton President Kansas City

Location is great, right downtown where the action is. For the cost the room wasnt all that great. There was still a used soap in the shower when I arrived, bathroom area looked kinda dirty and worn out. I traveled with a friend who had a separate room and we checked in at the same time. They got a while rundown on what the hotel had for food beverage and such and I was kinda handed a key by my clerk and sent on my way. We booked the same room on the same floor, mine was lacking a fridge which was a bummer. The breakfast opened at 7, not 6 as stated in the email booking and the person at the desk kinda treated me like I was dumb for asking where it was located since I thought it was open. When it did open there was no one to seat you as the sign directs and the price was also different from the booking email. It was also tiered which is odd for a buffet. I decided to check out early instead of eating there. It just wasn't a great overall experience.

Not a lot of amenities in the hotel but it is nicely decorated and looks romantic. Bed was super comfortable and water presser hit the spot. What it lacked in amenities in made up for in location. Your neighbor is KC live and everything in the power light district so know need to drive

This is a very good location for downtown K.C. The hotel lobby very nice. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and the food and service were very good. The only complaint here was that the attached bar was very loud and the restaurant ambiance could be redesigned to be more comfortable and intimate. There was a group of about eight people at a large table near us that were having load discussion that was distracting for us but dealt with it. The room was small but the renovation was very nice, bathroom was big with a nice tub/shower that my wife enjoyed a epsom salt soak. My only complaints are that there is no fridge or microwave to heat coffee. Also, they use the old style coffee two cup coffee maker as most hotels have now gone to keurigs. The hallway noise is very noticeable and the room-to-room noise is as well. We could literally hear the conversation in the next room. One thing that I really dislike is the lack of a "do not disturb" card for the door and as expected, the housekeeper was knocking on the door at 9:00 a.m. to clean the room even though checkout is at noon! I'm sure there are much better and newer hotels but if you are looking for a reasonable place to stay in the heart of downtown K.C. this is a good choice.

Nice hotel!

Overall the location was fine but we were on the 7th floor and it was loud (motorcycle?) sounds coming in through our windows after midnight. The lobby had some remnants from a wedding that had been there the night before that should have been picked up. Had some shabby chic elements in decor but overall it was just fine.

The hotel was beautiful, the staff professional and welcoming. We had an amazing event in the ball room, and everything was perfect!

Beautiful, wonderful staff, comfortable room, and perfect distance to walk around downtown KC, Power & Light District, and a quick walk to the T-Mobile Center. I will definitely come back to this hotel the next time I come to KC.

Large flag outside our window that flapped in the wind all night long. Had to remove the toilet tank lid to lower flapper each time flushed. There was only 1 coffee cup & only decaf. The breakfast buffet eggs were not done. Watery. The Starbucks staff member was rude because we got there 15 min prior to 10:00 am closing.
