Senator Inn & Spa

The cloud 9 Restaurant which is attached to the Inn was ok. Not many options. Rooms were clean, beds are extremely hard.

Perfect place to stay near the Capitol during early spring. The in suite fireplace is a definite plus for those chilly spring nights/mornings. Wonderful staff who care about their patrons!

The online pictures looked very nice, posh, but in fact it was rather a dive. Motel, not Hotel. Took forever to get someone at the front desk - I was calling for them, rapping on the desk, no one for more than 5 minutes. The rooms are dated, but comfortable. The price was high for the value. If I paid $50 less per nite, I'd say it was worth it.

The hotel restaurant was fine - I had breakfast, and the menu consisted of typical breakfast fare. My meals were cooked properly and the service was very good. Cereal or oatmeal would have been nice. I received a call a week before my stay that yhe pool and hot tub would be vlosed for maintenence during my stay. They woyldn't discount the daily charge, but gave vouchers for future stays.

Family room was almost impossible to find and not located on the map. Room wasn’t locked when I finally found it. I felt unsafe . Couldn’t see outside all windows were glazed over with some kind of material so you could not see out. There was a dog barking that had apparently been left in a room… I was uncomfortable and felt unsafe

Children are “allowed” but I would NOT recommend staying here with them. The pool is “for the spa”, the staff were aggressive and rude and I will never return here. Absolutely awful experience here with my children.

The Room and facility were fine but they were babies crying in kids screaming and nearby rooms. Made it nearly impossible to sleep.

Nothing was good..No hot tub..or steam room,the pool was not warm at all..The room was freezing as well.. I didnt enjoy it at all..really bummed about it

BothThe hot tub and saunas were out of commission so we did not have access to these, very disappointing.
