The room was quite spacious with a comfortable 1.8-meter bed. My daughter had a blast playing with the iPad that controlled the lights and air conditioning. The room was cleaned daily and included a mini-fridge and hairdryer. The only minor downsides were the lack of a kettle and disposable slippers; for hot water, we had to go to the first floor and ask a staff member. The lobby on the first floor was beautiful. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Jalan Alor, and DURI DURI is right behind it. However, I absolutely don't recommend DURI DURI – their durian platter was a huge disappointment, especially the Musang King which was incredibly bitter. I wondered if it was spoiled, but the owner claimed that's just how old tree durians from Malaysia taste. I didn't encounter any Mandarin-speaking staff at the front desk, but communication was easy enough with basic English, and their attitude was generally good. We booked two rooms on the same floor but weren't assigned adjacent ones. The hotel is conveniently located for taxis to Kuala Lumpur's attractions, and you can easily walk to Pavilion and the McDonald's iconic landmark. Overall, I recommend staying here.

Booked this accommodation in the Bukit Bintang area for my Kuala Lumpur trip, mainly because it's relatively new and the location is convenient. It's right next to Jalan Alor Food Street and within easy walking distance of Berjaya Times Square and the upscale Pavilion Mall, so no need for a taxi. It's a bit further to the Petronas Twin Towers and Chinatown. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The lobby bar and lounge area are excellent, and the guest rooms generally met my expectations.

The room was great, exactly as pictured in the description. The staff were very welcoming, and some even spoke Chinese, which was a lovely touch. After checking out, I stored my luggage, but due to a miscommunication, the staff thought our bags belonged with another group and didn't tag them. However, the security and staff diligently helped us resolve the issue, and I'm truly grateful for their professional attitude. In the end, they successfully helped us retrieve our luggage – a big thank you to all of them. The hotel is conveniently located behind the popular Alor Street night market, making dining very easy. The hotel entrance also avoids traffic jams, making it super easy to catch a taxi. The hotel is also close to many attractions; if you walk briskly, you can even reach Pavilion and KLCC. I personally tested it – it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Pavilion, and then another 10 minutes via the indoor skybridge to KLCC, which is even faster than taking a taxi (because Pavilion and KLCC areas are often congested. After the first day, we walked to Pavilion and KLCC for shopping every time). Taking a taxi to Central Market or Merdeka Square is also very close, typically around 10 MYR.

The mattress and pillows were really comfortable, and the room was dark enough for a good sleep. However, the TV power light was a constant glow, which wasn't great for sleeping. The iPad controls were unresponsive, and there were no power outlets near the bed. Breakfast was decent, and the service was excellent, with friendly staff to chat with.

The room was super smart, you could control a lot of things with the tablet. It also had a great sense of design, and the hotel lobby was beautifully decorated. The hotel's location was pretty good, with lots of hustle and bustle nearby, but the rainfall showerhead in the bathroom didn't work well.

Our family of 13 chose to stay at the citizenM Hotel. The location was excellent, right next to Jalan Alor. It was also just a 5-10 minute walk to the MRT and Pavilion shopping mall. Really great!
