Chengdu Panda Holiday Hotel (Jianshe Road Dongjiao Memory Store)

Facilities: Excellent! Every room is spacious, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom is very well done! Cleanliness: Spotless! Environment: Fantastic! Service: The service was impeccable and very warm and welcoming! I'd like to highlight two things. First, when I returned to my room, my key card suddenly stopped working, and a staff member promptly came to help me open the door. Second, when I was checking out, they noticed I had forgotten my phone charger. They immediately contacted me, and I asked them to add me on WeChat so I could arrange for paid shipping. The service was absolutely wonderful!

The room was quite clean. The hotel is a renovated old building with a retro industrial style, and the environment is very quiet. There are many food options nearby, including a food court, and even more across the street. I got a discount coupon from the hotel for a hot pot restaurant – 50 off 200, which was a good deal. Most importantly, it's very close to the Chengdu Grand Theater, just a three or four-minute walk, which is super convenient for catching a play.

Had a great stay, and they even upgraded our room type, which my parents were very happy about! The location is super convenient, right next to Exit D of Balizhuang subway station, making transport a breeze. The room was also larger than expected. Overall, a fantastic check-in experience!

Booked this hotel because we were seeing a play nearby. There were three of us, so we booked three rooms. It was very comfortable, the bedding was great, and the area was relatively quiet, making it ideal for business trips. The staff handling the invoices was also incredibly thorough and accommodated all my requests. Definitely a place worth recommending!

The environment is great, clean, and the service is excellent. It has a courtyard, and I stay here every time I visit. It's very close to Dongjiao Memory, and the evening atmosphere around the hotel's square and streets is fantastic with all the lights, perfect for taking photos.

The room was spacious and quiet, conveniently located for easy travel. The buffet wasn't huge but offered local specialties. It's close to Eastern Suburb Memory, which has a very vintage vibe, and also near the China Performing Arts Grand Theatre. Overall, it was great.

The room was excellent, and the environment was really nice too. The little dolls at the front desk were adorable! Everything was very clean, and it's a hotel with great value for money, perfect for travelers.

The front desk kindly upgraded me to a more spacious King Room. The hotel is located between the Second and Third Ring Roads, and it's a quick 10-15 minute taxi ride to the Panda Base. I chose this location specifically because I thought it would help avoid traffic jams when taking a taxi back. It's also a convenient 5-minute walk from Balizhuang Station on Metro Line 7. I was particularly impressed with the hotel's breakfast; it's served in a transparent glass room and offers a great variety including hot dishes, wontons, cold appetizers, congee, and drinks – a perfect start to the day! The staff were very accommodating and even helped deliver my laundered clothes to my room. Downstairs, there's a park with a nice artistic vibe that's worth exploring. Across the road, you'll find a snack supermarket, restaurants, and late-night eateries in the residential area. It's also just two kilometers from Dongjiao Memory, a trendy district that I highly recommend. It's truly massive, offering plenty of options for food, shopping, and sightseeing. What's more, it features many unique trendy shops and restaurants not found in Guangzhou, avoiding severe homogenization. The layout is well-designed, blending industrial and artistic styles – highly recommended! Oh, and the room rate of just over 200 yuan on April 3rd was incredibly reasonable and excellent value for money.
