Z9 is a high end holiday resort located by a scenic spot along the Kwai river. The compound and rooms were designed to maximise the enjoyment of the scenery and the river.
The service was impeccable and all amenities well appointed although not luxurious.
Food and beverage are great and well valued.
Since you will be travelling a long way to this secluded area, you will be well rewarded with a serene and beautiful environment to rest for a day or two.
Highly recommended for couples and solo travellers looking for a place of respite.

Calm serene and stunning view
Suitable for lovers to stay in romantic and beautiful place.
It’s recommended to finish lunch at downtown reataurant then drive straight to resort spend afternoon at resort.
Because the road to resort is difficult to drive if it dark or raining.
Good dinner despite limited choice on the menu.

Overall, the food was delicious and the accommodation was quiet, which was nice. I might not have slept very well sometimes because the raft boat would occasionally have some waves, and the room was a bit dusty. But generally speaking, the room was cute and the staff service was excellent.

The Floating Water Bungalows boast an excellent overall design. They offer complimentary paddleboards and kayaking. Both the service and breakfast were good, and the facilities are quite new. Highly recommended.

Kind of service mind from staff. The south room is small around 20 sq.m. but can eat anything in the room without charge.
There 2 activities free both of kayak & surf board. Recommended breakfast that many kind of food with sun raise view. Very nice view around resort all day and night.

Z9 resort is a must try when you visit to Kanchanaburi. You will get the best experience of sleeping on the water and most of the people says like "Maldive Thailand'. To see the sunrise from the room can refresh of the day, relax your body and soul. Really love to stay there.
