Howard Johnson Life KUNMING

Staying at the Howard Johnson Life Hotel Kunming was a great experience. The room was clean and quiet, and parking was convenient, making it ideal for self-driving travelers. The location is excellent, with smooth routes to the Mushuihua Wild Mushroom Market, Stone Forest, and Dounan Flower Market. I highly recommend it to visitors who love wild mushrooms and are looking for authentic Yunnan cuisine. There are plenty of dining options nearby, making self-driving and finding food a breeze!

The room was quite clean, though there were some odd bits on the curtains. The location is very convenient, with a night market nearby offering plenty of food options. The facilities are good; there are even some leisure and entertainment areas along the corridor.

The environment is great, especially the large terrace which is very pleasant. It's clean and the service is also very good.

After comparing many places, this one stood out. The beds are comfortable and spacious, easily accommodating a family of four. It's conveniently located near Shuangqiao, with good transport links and the subway not too far away. Downstairs, there are two bakeries and a rice noodle shop, so finding food is super easy. Breakfast was also good. We initially planned to stay one night but ended up extending our stay.

The toilet reeked of urine, the duvet cover was torn, and the comforter kept slipping out in the middle of the night.

The Howard Johnson Life Kunming (Shuangqiao Night Market Fengqingjie, Kunming Railway Station) is conveniently located near the subway, making travel easy. The hotel facilities, cleanliness, and overall environment are all very good.

The hotel service was excellent, and the breakfast spread was impressive. Its close proximity to the subway station made getting around incredibly convenient, especially for reaching attractions like Kunming Old Street and Cuihu Park. Definitely worth staying here.

Howard Johnson Life vs. Atour: HoJo Life is a bit cheaper, and the room amenities are comparable. The courtyard is more exquisite, and the breakfast is especially richer. I stayed for one night initially, then extended for two more. Very satisfied.
