Rosewood Phuket

The environment is excellent, with lots of greenery, creating a great vacation vibe. The breakfast restaurant offers a good variety of à la carte options, and the fruits are incredibly fresh. The service is fantastic; all the hotel staff are very welcoming.

Every stay at Rosewood is a great experience. The service is excellent, and the environment is lovely. This time, I even got a complimentary room upgrade. The breakfast is à la carte with a wide variety and delicious options. The only downside is that while the hotel is very quiet in the mountains, the rooms aren't very soundproof. If the neighboring villa gets noisy with a lot of people late at night, you might experience some disturbance.

The staff provided excellent service and were incredibly friendly to children, even letting my little one 'drive' the shuttle – very thoughtful! Breakfast was mostly à la carte, and the ingredients and taste were superb. The Italian dinner was also quite good, though a little pricey. It's a shame the Thai restaurant was closed that day, so we didn't get to try it. The room was spacious, and the pool was very comfortable. Housekeeping cleaned twice a day, morning and afternoon, and was very thorough. We received fresh fruit and delicate pastries daily. The only minor drawback is that you can't see the sea while swimming. The private beach had much better sand and water quality compared to Patong Beach. However, since the hotel is on a hill, there aren't many shops nearby. The closest 7-Eleven was about a 15-minute walk, and taking a taxi to Jungceylon (shopping mall) also took about 15 minutes. One thing I didn't quite understand: when we left, there were many farewell gifts at the main entrance, but we couldn't find one for us, and no one saw us off. It felt a bit lacking in ceremony. I wonder if it was because we didn't book the hotel's car to the airport. Aside from that, everything else was fantastic! For those who enjoy a tranquil escape amidst a bustling area, this hotel is definitely worth a stay. It's probably the top-tier hotel in the Patong area.

The check-in lobby is outdoors and extremely hot. The Thai food was terrible. The walk from the front desk to the room is winding and steep. The Italian restaurant's menu translation is incorrect. The room itself is dim and poorly lit. There were bugs in the sink... The pool, however, is beautiful.

I'm writing this review specifically because of the amazing service at this Rosewood. I'm really satisfied; it's the best service I've experienced at any Rosewood property. This level of service truly justifies the price. I want to thank all the staff at Rosewood Phuket for making my stay so pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and the healthy drinks offered daily were perfect for me! Also, you absolutely *must* try the hotel's Thai restaurant! I believe it's Michelin-selected, and the food is absolutely fantastic. My sister and I had a wonderful six days here 🥳. Plus, activities like boating and fish-watching are complimentary and included with the hotel stay.

The Chinese butler was incredibly helpful, and the entire hotel service was impeccable. I lost my luggage at the airport, and the front desk even offered me some of their clothes to wear. Although I didn't end up wearing them, I really appreciated the gesture. As soon as you step into the lobby, the staff immediately offer you water, beer, or juice. Communication was seamless.

The dining was definitely a highlight; every dish, including breakfast, was meticulously prepared and tasted fantastic. The service was top-notch, truly impeccable. With fewer rooms and more staff, they seemed to know exactly what every guest needed. The room was designed to feel very much like a home, which was lovely. The private pool in this room type was shallow and small, perfect for kids to splash around in. The gym wasn't large but was open 24/7, equipped with top-of-the-line machines, great for various cardio and light strength training. As for areas for improvement: the outdoor bathtub's hygiene was questionable, the tap water was quite erratic (splashing everywhere), and the reading lamp in the room would inexplicably dim and brighten on its own.

Excellent service! I was pleasantly surprised by the great service in Phuket. Many staff members speak Chinese, though it was quite expensive since we went during Chinese New Year. There were also a lot of foreigners, and overall, the crowd quality was very good. Both the beach and sand were beautiful. The only downside is that it's far from the airport, over a 70-minute drive. However, the hotel's airport transfer service was fantastic. They dropped us off right at the check-in counter. It cost 2000 RMB to the airport, and the car was an Alphard. We booked one car, and the hotel provided another one just for our luggage, which was amazing! I initially thought we'd have to pay for two cars.
