Atour Hotel Foshan Zu Miao Lingnan Tiandi‌

It's pretty good. It's right across from Lingnan Tiandi, surrounded by places to eat, and Nam Kee Congee Shop is right next door.

I really like Atour hotels; they're my go-to whenever I travel. For this holiday, I chose Guangzhou to visit the hometowns of Wong Fei-hung and Ip Man, and to see the lion dance performances. Staying at the Lingnan Tiandi Atour Hotel was a fantastic experience. The front desk staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, the room was spotless, and the breakfast spread was excellent. A truly great experience overall.

This Atour hotel is the only one I've stayed at that had hygiene issues. At the lobby bar, there was a glass pitcher. When I checked in, I went to get a glass of water and noticed the lid wasn't properly closed, and there were small black bugs flying around the water. It looked really dirty. When I checked out, I was waiting for my car there, and the pitcher still didn't have its lid on properly; there was no water, just cucumber and lemon left. It left a very bad impression. And in the room, as soon as I entered, I was about to boil some water and saw there were many tea stains on the countertop, and the cups were moldy. I really wanted to contact the front desk then, but I was too lazy to bother. Other than that, everything else was good.

The hotel is very close to Lingnan Tiandi, and there are restaurants and pharmacies downstairs, which is very convenient. It's also within walking distance to Zumiao Temple. I stayed for three nights. The room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping was prompt.

We booked a family room, and as soon as we opened the door, we were pleasantly surprised! The room was decorated incredibly cutely, it was clean, hygienic, and the space was quite good. Definitely deserves a good review! ☺

I chose this hotel for its location, and overall I'm very satisfied. After booking, the hotel called to ask about my room preferences and approximate arrival time. This is a rare service that I haven't encountered much in the hotels I've booked over the past few years. Upon arrival, I received a room upgrade, but due to the room type, it was on a lower floor facing the street. So, for sensitive sleepers, the noise from cars and the rumbling of the subway might affect their sleep. The hotel's breakfast was decent; I ate it for a few days, and it wasn't exactly the same each day, which was nice. In the evening, complimentary mung bean porridge and popcorn were available on the first floor. All the staff greeted guests. Room cleaning was acceptable, to a normal standard, though I wish the floor cleaning could be a bit better – I'm just overly sensitive about hair. The front desk staff were all very good, especially a young man named Ji Xing; he was very nice and accommodating. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Lingnan Tiandi, with plenty of dining, drinking, and shopping options nearby. However, be aware that the road in front of the hotel has railings. When exploring the area, make sure not to miss the crosswalk, otherwise, you'll have to walk quite a bit further.

The room was clean and well-maintained, and the facilities were very new. The location is excellent, with a subway station nearby. It's only a ten-minute walk to Zumiao Temple and Lingnan Tiandi. Highly recommended!

Facilities: Excellent. Hygiene: Good. Environment: Great, very close to Lingnan Tiandi, just a short walk away. Since it's near the subway 🚇, you can feel the subway passing by, but it doesn't affect sleep. Rooms facing the street also barely hear any traffic noise. Service: Excellent. The breakfast server was very enthusiastic, asking what I'd like to eat and repeatedly checking if I wanted anything else before clearing the table, and offering coffee to go. A server on the second-floor restaurant, seeing I wanted to use the restroom but there wasn't one on that floor, lent me his card to access the first-floor restroom – very thoughtful of the guest. The handsome guy at the front desk, noticing we booked a family room, gave us an extra breakfast and extended our checkout until 2 PM. They were accommodating to all our requests, very satisfied! 👍 Will definitely choose Atour again next time.

The room was very clean, the service was excellent, and overall it was a great experience.
