The Lodge at Woodloch

A perfect wellness getaway with a variety of classes and hiking trails. The meals are excellent and farm to table. The rooms and building are warm and comfortable. This was my third trip and I’ll be back.

I just returned from a 3 night get away with a few women friends. I would highly recommend the Lodge at Woodloch to those looking for a serene environment , and to relax. The property is intimate having only 59 sleeping rooms. Services at the spa were wonderful and the cuisine sublime. If seeking a more health oriented facility like Canyon ranch or Miraval, this is not it. The menu is not spa cuisine but superb. The gym is well equipped but the selection of classes is limited. The pool is indoors and very nice but not a lap pool. If one has goals like losing weight, smoking cessation, this is not the right product. Walking the scenic grounds is very relaxing.

Excellent stay; the staff and amenities never disappoint! Can't wait to return! Shout out to the ladies (I only saw ladies doing this, but maybe there are men too ;) who dust and wipe everything down! They keep TLaW sparkly, and I noticed--never see dust anywhere--even the chandeliers! Two activities that were a great addition was the Sights & Sounds of Mindful Silence (you sit in a moon pod bean bag chair listening to hand pan music via headphones while meditating/relaxing.) Whomever thought of that activity was genius! I also loved the Tranquil Float; another genius addition!

My husband and I stayed for two nights in mid-July to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Our stay and experience at the Lodge at Woodloch was impeccable from the moment we arrived until we left. The food was perfection, the rooms were spotless and beautiful, the spa was heavenly, and the activities/classes were engaging and enjoyable. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful and was happy to assist us. I can't say enough about the massages, facials, and body treatments. (The Rosemary Awakening treatment with Shannon was heavenly!) We both felt cared for and left with quiet minds. It was a completely immersive experience from the moments we spent hiking the trails, sitting on the lake dock, or walking the meditation labyrinth in peace. Thank you for such a carefully cultivated experience! We'll be telling everyone about it.

Exceptional experience. A wonderful place to relax, get involved in a variety of activities while enjoying outstanding food, spa amenities, and incredible service. Clean, quiet location with staff who are extremely knowledgeable and provide a welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are quiet with expansive views of the beautiful property. Transforming experience for personal renewal. Follow your own personal path while you are there.

My wife and I have been guests at Woodloch since 2006, when they first opened, and it has become a cherished annual tradition for us. Over nearly 20 years, they have continually raised the bar, and our most recent four-day stay was no exception. The spa/resort manages to balance luxury with warmth. Every member of the staff is unfailingly friendly, welcoming, professional, and eager to please. The dining, spa and various class experience is refined, high quality with a lot of variety. One of the most remarkable aspects of Woodloch is the personal touch from the staff, including John, the owner who has an incredible memory. Even though we typically visit only once a year, many staff members and John always recognize us and personally thanks us for our patronage. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and makes us feel like part of the Woodloch family. Woodloch is more than a resort—it’s an experience that keeps getting better with time. We look forward to returning year after year.
