Fairfield Inn & Suites Portland Maine Airport

We bought fresh stream lobster from supermarket and good that the hotel had outside patio that we can have it there, great!

We stayed for one night at the Fairfield Inn in Scarborough, Maine. It met our needs for this stay. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean. Bruce in the breakfast room was very kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to be sure that everything was full and that everyone had what they needed.

When we were waiting to check in, the gentleman before me was checking in with a name different than on the reservation . He said his wife made the reservation in her name . The girl at the front desk said that normally the person on the reservation had to call if a different person was checking I. But she’d let it go that time . That is not supposed to happen and is very dangerous . Then she sent us to a room that was dirty , the fridge was not plugged in and it smelled awful . It took her ten minutes to get us a new room . It’s very dirty and while I understand that it’s spring , the outside is gross with the outside furniture stacked by a shed like garbage .

Everything was clean, food for breakfast was better than most, friendliness of the staff, Was a good experience there

The room was clean and fit what we needed The room was a little warm and the AC would not come on to cool done I also asked for a sports bar nearby to watch ncaa basketball and they directed me to a brewery that had no TVs Otherwise the stay was good and the staff at the hotel were very friendly

Front desk staff were very helpful, gentleman serving breakfast was very friendly. Bed was comfortable

We had a great stay. Room was clean, friendly staff and great water pressure. Room was quiet for sleep and had black out curtains. It’s at the end of town which we like closer to Cabelas and restaurants. We would come here again.

Everything was clean. I was given tap water bottles and a cookie. The linoleum in the bathtub was a little torn up. That’s the only issue I saw.
