Very close to the airport with a convenient shuttle bus service. The pick-up point is at stop number 12 on the departure level, not gate 12, so remember that. The hotel environment is decent, and the rooms are spacious. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Gree air conditioner, which is much better and quieter than those noisy American-style units. Breakfast was also quite good; although the selection wasn't huge, it was satisfying. A heads-up for airport transfers: after the 12 PM shuttle, the next one isn't until after 3 PM. If you miss it, you'll have to take a taxi to the airport.

This was the worst hotel of our trip. We booked it because we had a rental car, and most hotels in downtown San Francisco charge for parking. We thought having a car would make it easy to get into the city, and we were returning the car at the airport, so this seemed convenient. **Facilities:** The hotel is very old; it's been around for a long time. Even the toilet seat was wobbly. **Cleanliness:** This was the absolute worst. We stayed for three nights, and they didn't clean our room once. On the first day, they said we left too late and missed the cleaning time. On the second day, we left right after breakfast, but when we returned, nothing had been touched. **Service:** The front desk staff was unfriendly.

The airport shuttle isn't very punctual, so you might have to wait a while. Breakfast is quite varied, and the front desk service is excellent; they're quick to send someone to help with any issues.

Flying from Salt Lake City to San Francisco for a one-night stay. After exiting the airport, there are hotel shuttle signs. Just wait for the hotel's circulating shuttle bus, and it takes about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. Check-in was convenient, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and hygienic, and it was nice to be able to make your own waffles for a warm breakfast. Overall, it's pretty good value for money.

The hotel is over 100 years old and very close to Santa Monica Beach, just about 100 meters away. The sunset in the evening was incredibly beautiful, and there were seagulls everywhere.
