Monkeys Canopy Resort

Stayed 2 weekday nights at Monkey Canopy Resort and overall had an enjoyable stay. It's quite a remote drive on the outskirts of KL, but the kids were excited the moment we arrived. The resort is spacious, beautiful, and even has EV charging stations. Check-in was self-service. While we were guided to the kiosk, the staff wasn't particularly welcoming and did not provide information such as breakfast timings or the WiFi password. With few guests around, a little more assistance would have been appreciated. The buggy ride to the room was fun and the buggy drivers were friendly. Waiting time was reasonable, usually under 10 minutes. The room itself was spacious and clean. One thing to note is that there are about 10 steps leading to the room with no ramp, so carrying luggage can be a challenge. Breakfast was decent but fairly standard, with nasi lemak, noodles, eggs, ham, and bread. The selection remained mostly the same over the two mornings. The resort grounds are huge with plenty of activities available, although most come at an additional cost. Despite a few service shortcomings, we enjoyed our stay and had a great family getaway.

The room is clean and the resort environment is quite relaxing. Is a good resort for short getaway with your love one and family.

We enjoyed the view in our room, is a rainy day, cannot go out for outdoor activities but having in room dining with raining garden views, it makes our day so relaxing

The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a great variety of fresh options. The restaurant had a lovely ambiance, perfect for starting the day.

Amazing resort with beautiful surroundings, clean rooms, nice food and plenty of fun activities for the whole family. Great place for a relaxing getaway and creating memorable moments. Would definitely visit again! 🌿🏞️✨

Queue 1.45 hours just for check in at lobby. 1st room can clock in at 5pm. 2nd room only ready at 6pm++. After dinner and attend dino park only check in room 2 at 9pm. At peak hours the buggy service below average. Hence have to walk 15 min back to the room 2. The room preparation such as towel, hair dryer and etc below average. Overall the room cleanliness above average. I dine in at restaurant stick and baron. Below average. Morning buffet at restaurant stick and baron. Good. MCR don’t have convenient stall hence I have to go to town to buy mineral water. The theme park visited water park and Dino park. A nice place to visit.

The check in process took more than 1.5hours. Only get the room key near 6pm and needed to wait for the buggy ride to our room. The room has all basic amenities but the water pump sound is so lpud and affect the sleep while night. The ventilation at toilet also has loud sounds when turn on. Need to improve on this. The Hotel really needs to learn to handle large crowd check in during holidays!
