The beach is just over 100 meters across the street. 2. **Excellent Facilities & Modern Ambiance**: The hotel's amenities are exceptionally comprehensive and quite new. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfortable. The air conditioning works great. There's a large swimming pool downstairs, which is very convenient, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of good quality options. Overall, the hotel environment is fantastic. 3. **Outstanding Service**: The hotel provides excellent service. Check-in was very quick, and both the front desk staff and servers were warm and generous. We received a welcome drink upon arrival, and on our second day, there was a handwritten card and a towel folded into an elephant – truly thoughtful and meticulous service. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It definitely exceeds the quality and standards of a four-star establishment, offering great value for money.

This seems to be one of the best hotels opposite Cenang Beach. While waiting to check in, they even gave us free drink vouchers. The location is close to the airport and Cenang Mall duty-free shops, which has many restaurants, making it convenient for dining, shopping, and getting around. For liquor and chocolates in Langkawi, definitely buy them outside the airport; I'm not sure why they're so much more expensive at the airport. Avoid buying anything at the airport except for that orchid perfume, which is excellent and suitable for gifts or personal use.

We booked three rooms and specifically requested no connecting rooms, but still ended up with one. Luckily, it wasn't too noisy, so it was acceptable. The rooms had various minor issues, like water seeping into the living room and a clogged sink. However, the front desk was always proactive in resolving these problems and had a great attitude. Our room faced the pool, which was quite noisy during the day, but became very quiet after 10 PM. The hotel is conveniently located about 300-400 meters from Cenang Beach, making it easy to go for a swim, which the kids loved. The best part of the entire hotel was the breakfast; it was the best we had on our Malaysia-Singapore trip. The variety was excellent, with many local delicacies, and we were very satisfied every day. Some friends in our group who didn't book breakfast even came to eat, and no one said anything... Just be aware that it gets very crowded after 9 AM, so it's best to go earlier. In Langkawi, Mercure Hotels are a solid choice and highly recommended.

The hotel's location is great, close to the beach and night market, making it convenient for getting around. It has a swimming pool, a gym, and coffee for breakfast. However, the mattress was old and a bit saggy. Generally, towels and linens in Langkawi hotels aren't always the newest.

The hotel is right next to Cenang Beach, with restaurants, convenience stores, and travel agencies—everything you need. We booked a family room, which comfortably accommodated our family of four with a large bed and a bunk bed. We also received drink vouchers upon check-in. The room was clean and the air conditioning was excellent.

Beyond the decent location, the overall experience was very disappointing, and the service was even worse.
