Great hostel with a friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff! The highlight was definitely the free Chinese dumpling-making class, such a fun and authentic experience. Highly recommended!

Nice and social hostel in Chengdu. A nice rooftop is there to use for socializing and the common area is very cool. Looks a bit like the style of hostels we have in western europe. However, it is still a mix of chinese travellers and westerners staying there. close to the metro and quite central

Great hostel! I agree with all the previous reviewers that say there is a great vibe here. In particular I want to give a shout out to Mix, the owner/co-founder of the hostel. He runs some of the awesome activities such as the free walking tours for guests. He is also a passionate traveler and enjoys sharing the genuine stories behind his hometown of Chengdu. He took a disparate group of us from 10 unique countries on a walk through history, culture and local cuisine - it was amazing. The hostel is very multi-national and has an intrepid backpacker vibe although I did see families here too. The hostel is very comfortable but not modern.

The location is great. It is 10 mins walk to the centre of the city with all the malls and shops. 5 mins to the closest Metro station. Just 1 to 2 mins walk, you will be surrounded by many restaurants. On the ground floor of the hostel, you find a fruit seller and shops. The room is comfortable and clean. The reason I rated a 3 is because there's a huge roach on the wall the day i came and it stayed (for 2-3 days) and went away my last 2nd night. It didn't bother me or move, so I left it alone. The staffs generally speaks well, so it was not a problem to ask for help and so on. It does take me a while to explain stuff sometimes but it is still manageable. They also have activities but I noticed, not everyone participate - not many people are as sociable (at leave not many in my hostel branch). The dumpling party on my last night was canceled because there were lacked of staff and participants. Overall - I will give it a good score!

Great place. I stayed in a private room and had everything i needed. Also staff gave me free late checkout so i can grab a shiwer

Very nice and cool just inside the city center and pretty close to the giant panda department store.
