Meliá Pattaya Hotel

A new hotel in a very convenient location. The room smelled great – you could tell the hotel was new. I especially want to highlight the bed – very comfortable!

The service was great, and there was a staff member at the front desk who spoke excellent Chinese. Just a heads up, the room assigned was quite far down the hall, so it's good to request a room closer to the main area in advance. The breakfast spread was quite generous, but dinner wasn't really value for money. The dinner shown in picture 4, ordered at the hotel, cost over 470 RMB. Overall, the accommodation environment was good. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, just through a small park, and the night market is right next door.

We paid extra to upgrade from our original room. This is a newly opened hotel and overall, the staff are friendly. It's spotlessly clean, as expected, and I liked the soft, comfortable bed. The amenities were decent too, and I was glad we booked a larger room than the standard one, as the basic rooms are a bit small. The location is particularly good, just a short walk up Soi 6. Overall, it's excellent. The car park is large, and the thoughtful front desk staff really stood out. The breakfast was surprisingly good – not just tasty, but there was a good variety. What was particularly impressive was the foreign head chef, who was personally overseeing everything and even made omelets himself, showing a lot of dedication. We had a very comfortable stay.

The hotel is on 2nd Street, a bit far from the sea, but visible from the windows. It's located on a lively street with a night market, shopping mall, and a street with bars. There's no balcony, so nowhere to dry clothes. There's a small kids' room with a children's pool. The breakfasts are magnificent, with Nutella, a huge selection, and honeycomb. However, the rooms are a bit small for a family of three. The faucet is inconveniently placed, and water constantly drips onto the floor.

This is a new and great hotel, and its location is also convenient. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast selection is a bit limited, but the taste is decent. The room decor is bright. The pool is quite small but very Instagrammable. All the staff are very friendly and greet you every time.

The hotel is new and clean, the front desk service was excellent, and the room had plenty of natural light and felt spacious. The sea view was superb, and the breakfast selection and environment were also good. Overall, the quality was great.

The hotel is lovely, and they offer a golf cart shuttle service to the beach club and the beachfront, which is super convenient!

Meliá Pattaya Hotel, opening in 2025, is a brand new 5-star resort situated in the heart of Pattaya, Thailand (Moo 9, Nongprue), just about 600 meters from Pattaya Beach. The hotel blends modern design with Mediterranean resort vibes, offering an outdoor swimming pool, multiple restaurants, bars, a gym, and a kids' club.

Normally, I avoid staying in hotels on Sukhumvit Soi 2 because it seems a bit deserted and the hotels look scary. But Leela changed my mind completely – it was a real 'wow!' moment when I walked in. It's so beautiful and clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly, practically escorting you from the moment you arrive, even if you're dressed super casually in pajamas. Overall, both the room and the hotel itself are great. This time I wasn't prepared with the right gear, but next time I'm definitely going to try out the sauna, fitness center, massage, food, and drinks. See you again for sure! P.S. I forgot to take a picture of the bathroom, but it was very clean (and I'm someone who really values a clean bathroom, so this place gets a pass from me).
