Palm Hotel Manila

It is a non-smoking hotel, but they allow guests to smoke in their rooms. I have not slept well and had a hard time staying in my room because I could smell cigarette smoke coming from other guests’ rooms. I even asked the front desk to confirm whether the floor was a non-smoking area, but I was told, “There is an ashtray, so you can smoke.” I clarified this twice while looking at the non-smoking notice on my table, which stated that there would be a penalty for smoking. The front desk staff did not even bothered to apologize. I have asthma and allergic to smoke cigarette. Luckily, I have my medications with me that time. This should be clearly clarified to your guests, especially since this condition can be life-threatening if it becomes severe and there is no medicine available at all.
