Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel

This hotel doesn't have king-size beds, only twin beds. I was worried my child might fall off, so I contacted the front desk to see if they had a bed rail. While they didn't, the staff kindly pushed the two beds together and against the wall, which was fantastic! We ended up with a super-sized bed! We were given a lower floor, but still had a view of the ocean and the Hilton across the way. The hotel has a kids' play area, which costs extra even for guests, but it's very affordable, I think around 1500 JPY for one adult and one child for an hour. It includes trampolines and a climbing wall. Overall, the hotel service was quite good.

The bed had hair on it, so it wasn't very clean. They do provide disposable slippers, which was a nice touch. It's also quite convenient if you're traveling with kids, as you can take the loop line from the Bay Station directly to Disneyland.

This was my second stay here, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's really convenient for getting to Disneyland and Maihama JR Station. The airport shuttle is right downstairs. The sea-facing rooms offer a beautiful view, and I even caught a glimpse of a church wedding early in the morning – what a lovely start to the day.

Fantastic! Super convenient for Disneyland, with the park shuttle right outside. We could even watch the Disney fireworks from our balcony!

Pros: 1. **Location:** Right downstairs from the Monorail's Bayside Station, it's only 300 yen to Disney's entrance. Rooms facing Disney offer direct views of the fireworks from the balcony. 2. **Free Shuttle:** The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to Maihama Station, running approximately every 20 minutes with a schedule. There's also a shuttle service to and from the Bayside monorail station. On the day we arrived, it was lightly raining when we finished up, and this 1-minute shuttle ride saved us from a 5-minute walk after getting off the monorail. 3. **Convenient Stores:** On the second floor, there are two small, basic convenience stores. While the selection is limited, it's enough to keep you from starving. The cafe on the second floor also has a good variety of bread. I highly recommend the curry bread! It's 400 yen and super delicious! I wanted to buy a couple more to take with me when checking out, but they only started selling them at 10 AM, so I missed out. 4. **Excellent Service:** As an older five-star hotel, the service is very well-appointed. 5. **Spacious Rooms:** The rooms are quite large, which is rare for this size in central Tokyo. For families with children, especially multiple children, it makes for a much more comfortable stay. Cons: **Dated:** The room's amenities are really old. While the exterior and lobby don't show their age much, stepping into the room felt like a time warp to the 90s. The yellowish desks and chairs felt older than me… that sense of age actually made me laugh.

Our family room had two large beds and one small bed. The staff were very responsive and enthusiastically recommended the special breakfast restaurant. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Maihama Station, and also has shuttle buses to Narita and Haneda airports, though these require a fee and online ticket purchase. On our last day, we had to rush to the airport, and the staff had already delivered our luggage to the shuttle pick-up point. They even hurried us along to the shuttle stop and communicated via walkie-talkie beforehand – definitely five-star service! The hotel has a Disney gift shop, which is very convenient for guests to buy souvenirs and put them directly into their luggage without having to carry them around. Right outside the hotel, there's a Disney monorail stop with four stations. You can easily use your Suica card, and there are even staff members on board interacting with passengers while holding character plushies. It's incredibly convenient.
