Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel

The room was quite spacious and the hotel facilities were decent. The service was excellent. However, the breakfast was just okay and there was a long queue. We tried the Japanese breakfast, which had fewer people and was a set menu. It was incredibly slow, and the taste was very average. The ambiance was alright though. We had a triple room, which was essentially a double with an extra bed. The extra bed was significantly shorter than a normal bed, but the mattress was firm and quite comfortable. There's a free shuttle bus to Maihama, which isn't always on time but is convenient enough. There's also an airport bus, which requires a reservation. It takes a long time as it picks up guests from various hotels on the island, adding about half an hour to the journey. The bus from the airport to the hotel also takes a detour, which was quite frustrating. If it weren't for the numerous transfers required to get to Haneda by JR, we really wasted a lot of time on that bus.

The hotel's location is pretty good, right by the back entrance of DisneySea. However, that back entrance is only accessible to guests staying at the DisneySea Hotel; others cannot use it. Overall, the hotel facilities are quite old, and there was a musty smell in the room. The staff were very enthusiastic and provided great service, but there's no Chinese-speaking staff. The garden environment is quite nice. Breakfast offers a good variety across four restaurants, but the taste is just average.

This was my second time visiting Disney, and I chose the Sheraton again because it's affordable and familiar! They offer shuttle buses to both Haneda and Narita airports; the Haneda one costs 1300 per person. There's also a shuttle bus to Maihama Station. In the evening, there's a bus from Bayside back to the hotel. Even though it's just a short walk, after a whole day at Disney, you truly don't want to take another step! We had a room with three beds, but honestly, the double bed is perfectly fine for two people. This time, we stayed in a sea view room. Some people say you can see Mount Fuji from there. Our last day was perfectly clear, but we still didn't manage to spot it.

Great for families with kids! There are five restaurants for breakfast, so you can try a different one each day. I recommend booking a room with a sea view – you can watch planes take off and land from your balcony. Plus, there's a free shuttle bus to the JR station.

This hotel is located in the Disney Resort area and offers a free shuttle to Maihama Station. There's also a direct bus from Haneda Airport to the hotel. For breakfast, guests have a choice of several restaurants. You can also take a monorail to Disney.

This is genuinely the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, worse than even a budget hotel, let alone a Marriott property! The room reeked of mildew. After housekeeping cleaned the next day, there were still two toothpicks on the floor from who knows where – we certainly didn't use them! The air conditioning couldn't be turned on, and while Tokyo wasn't hot in late June, it still got stuffy and warm with the window closed at night (we were afraid of bugs if we left it open to sleep). One night, around midnight, we were woken up by a staff member knocking to deliver juice, only for it to be the wrong room. The next morning, we were woken up again by a knock, asking if we wanted cleaning? Are you kidding me? Do they not want people to sleep? What hotel knocks on your door to ask if you want cleaning? I've never seen such a terrible hotel. Don't fall for it!!
