Fama Karaköy

The location is quite central and easy access to tram ferry and bus stops. The staff are very friendly. There is some construction work happening across the street which carries on into the night.

The hotel is tiny located in small street , the good thing that it’s quiet and very nice and helpful staff ready to help . Water , apples at the reception . Comfortable bed . Breakfast Turkish not buffet

It's one of the best small hotels in the downtown of Istanbul. My kind recommendation!

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. During my stay, a personal item went missing from my room. While I cannot prove what happened due to the absence of cameras inside the room, I am certain that I did not take the item out myself. According to the hotel, the only people seen entering the room on camera were members of the cleaning staff. However, no further action was taken to properly investigate the situation. What was especially frustrating was how this issue was handled on the day of my departure. Instead of taking my concern seriously or offering any form of resolution, I felt that the matter was simply brushed off. Additionally, I was spoken to in a rude and inappropriate manner by a staff member from the breakfast area who was not involved in the situation at all. I found this behavior to be unprofessional and disrespectful. Overall, this experience left me with a very negative impression, both because of the missing item and the way the situation was handled. I would have expected a much higher level of professionalism and support.

The staff was very courteous. The room was clean although somewhat noisy at times do to the AC/heat unit located in the balcony.

Very nice little hotel right in the middle of Karakoy, but away from the noise of Mumhane street. Very clean, comfortable and the staff is super helpful and friendly.
