Guilford Bed and Breakfast

John and Lisa always go above & beyond to make sure our stay is comfortable and lacks nothing. They are amazing hosts, and always thoughtful, personable, pleasant, and accommodating. We always look forward to staying at their beautiful B & B when in the area. We had to leave very early on our last day so they gave us two wonderful "to-go" bags--much appreciated and very delicious! Thank you, John & Lisa! Five stars for sure!!

The Guilford Bed and Breakfast is an excellent jewel in central Maine -- a quick run to Moosehead Lake and many other places in the region. It is quiet, tasteful and very well run. The breakfast is wonderful, elegant and homey at the same time. The rooms are comfortable, welcoming. Hosts John and Lisa are smart, caring and respectful of the needs of guests looking for peace and quiet in terrific circumstances. We spent two nights there on a holiday weekend and enjoyed every moment. You will too.

Truly a central Maine gem! This was our second time staying with John & Lisa, and again everything could not have been better--the Rose Room is comfortable, clean, quiet, and well-appointed, breakfasts are amazingly delightful and always "hit the spot!' John & Lisa are friendly & welcoming, accommodating, and just genuinely caring and always make us feel like we are among friends (even their dog Peanut was sweet & friendly!). The first floor is very welcoming, with cozy nooks for reading or just relaxing and there is also a lovely fireplace. We look forward to staying with them again later this year!

The Guilford Bed and Breakfast is a gem in rural Maine. The gracious hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Our rooms were tastefully decorated in period pieces and with very comfy beds. Our visit started as a Maine winter getaway and its timing turned into a fun-filled evening of lively entertainment and interesting interaction with fellow guests. We hope others enjoy the Guilford B&B as much as we did.

We spent two nights at the Guilford Bed & Breakfast while exploring the area around Moosehead Lake during the first full week of October. The B&B, situated in a beautiful historic home, sits on a hill and provides a quite lovely view while eating a terrific breakfast. The home is in immaculate condition, the rooms large and the beds comfortable, the attention to detail throughout enchanting. The Guilford is easily a place where you can relax and simply enjoy the peace and quiet, or, like we did, it's a great place to rest each night after a day of discovery in central Maine.

The property was beautiful, inside and out. The entire experience was wonderful. Breakfast was amazing. I sincerely want to thank the host for such a fabulous stay.

Lovely old home with antiques. Host was very pleasant and welcoming. No airconditioning which was a pity because the weather was hot. Only a double bed so a bit small in the heat. Breakfast was delicious Plenty of free parking. Nowhere relly good to eat near the B&B
