Best Western Rochester Hotel Mayo Clinic Area/St. Marys

The breakfast was cold, what was left of it anyways. Bath tub wouldn’t drain as we took a shower. No hot water. We were given 3 towels and were told they didn’t have more when we asked. Air in room barely worked.

We check in at 5pm and our room was not ready. The manager told us to wait in the side while he check in the rest of the people behind us. No updates. We were just waiting in the corner. It was terrible. Thankfully one of the front desk employee was nice to help us out... terrible customer service from a manager.

The room was clean and fresh looking. Very good first impression.The breakfast was plentiful, and fresh. Every morning there was a hot breakfast and many other choices of cereal, fruit, waffles, bread for toast and cold selections of yogurt and juices.

Housekeeping didn’t bother to check our room, we left dirty towels on the floor when we left and when we got back at 10 pm they were still there. Went to the front desk and asked for new towels, apparently a washing machine quit and they were short of towels, gentlemen working said he would get me some, got tired of waiting and went to bed at 11 pm. Threw the dirty towels outside our room door at 11 pm and they were gone in the morning, I had again go to the front desk and ask for clean towels. With the pool/hot tub closing at 10, we were unable to use it, that was one of the man reasons we booked there.. Breakfast was ok, same type of potatoes 3 days in a row.. best western I’m sure you can do better

Looks newly renovated, decorated and furnished. Contemporary decor and fixtures. Comfortable rooms..Cool indoor pool inside of an atrium... Convenient location for Mayo Clinic....Nearby restaurants. FREE PARKING.. Decent free breakfast. All in all great bang for your buck.. Would stay again for sure. Nothing bad to say.. Wonderful stay.

Staff there is amazing and and on top of there game and go above and beyond, I would also like to add that Nyiesha the supervisor at the front desk is an amazing asset to your hotel with all the choas with groups and kids last night and the incident that took place she handled her self very well with mass amount of upset From people following the issue took place..

The eggs seemed undercooked but options were good. The pool was great. Beds in the room were uncomfortable. Wish the tv had the option to have Netflix etc. overall was a decent hotel for the price.

It smells exaggeratedly strong of chlorine in the pool, you can't even breathe, I had to see a person who was taken in the ambulance with oxygen for not being able to breathe, the very scandalous guests it was midnight and they continued with a lot of scandal and they did nothing to shut them up, very bad experience

Had the family suite and was surprised to find it had a half bath, a kitchenette and living room besides the 2 queen beds and full bath in a separate room for a great price! Also, right off the pool. The pool was great! Really nice for families with all age levels as there is a kiddie pool with a little slide and the big pool with big slide AND a hot tub for my oldest child (aka the hubby). Breakfast wasn’t great but there were a lot of people and it’s hard to keep up being that busy. The staff was wonderful! Will stay there again!
