While my check-in experience wasn't great, I'll try to be as objective as possible:
**Facilities:** The room was tiny. I had to squeeze sideways to get to the bathroom, and the soundproofing was terrible! I was woken up at 6 AM by an argument next door. With only a single pane of glass between us, I could hear everything so clearly – I’ve never encountered anything like it. There were no fabric curtains, only a blinds-like pull-down shade, so the hallway lights shone through all night. I tried to communicate about checking out a day early but was refused. Eventually, I was reluctantly moved to a slightly upgraded room with three small windows and a bit more space, but the air conditioning unit outside was noisy at night, and light streamed in through the bottom of the door all night. The bathroom had no door, so splashing was unavoidable, and some parts of the towels were frayed. All in all, judging by the decor and facilities, I’m genuinely skeptical that this hotel opened in 2024.
**Hygiene:** When my phone fell under the bed and I retrieved it, I found an old orange left behind.
**Location:** The location is indeed excellent. It’s a 3-5 minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, and there’s a 7-Eleven just a short distance from the entrance.
**Service:** Objectively, the service during check-in and check-out was good, and they did assist in resolving issues when they arose. They even prepared a small coffee gift upon departure, which I politely declined as my luggage was full. My thanks to the staff for their help.
**Summary:** For the same price point, being advertised as a five-diamond hotel and opened in 2024, it’s really hard to accept this standard (including breakfast). However, the location is convenient, and it has the basic amenities, but the hardware facilities are significantly lacking. This is my genuine personal experience for everyone's reference.
