An absolutely terrible experience. First, the room itself: the decor was very basic and it offered poor value for money. The pool was pretty but far too small; you couldn't actually swim in it. All the bar snacks were chargeable (whereas at other luxury hotels I've stayed at, they're usually complimentary). Now for the most important part: I booked a room through Ctrip, but a friend found a better deal. When I arrived at the hotel, I tried to cancel my Ctrip booking at the front desk. The hotel staff showed a complete lack of integrity and ethics, lying and saying I couldn't cancel (Ctrip later confirmed that cancellations *were* possible, but the hotel simply refused). This fundamental issue goes beyond whether the hotel is good or bad. Everyone, be cautious and avoid this place!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The staff were all incredibly friendly, especially Nicole Anthea Tipo at the front desk, who was so warm and thoughtful. She even extended our check-out time to 3 PM so my child could go swimming. I will definitely be coming back next time! Thanks to the wonderful Mandarin Oriental, and the breakfast was delicious too.

My friend and I traveled from HK to Futian Mandarin Oriental to celebrate a birthday. I'd researched several hotels online beforehand and ultimately chose MO, a hotel I hadn't stayed at before. My main reasons were the hotel's reputation for quality and excellent service, as well as its convenient location for shopping, with a mall and many dining options right downstairs. From the moment we stepped out of the car and into the hotel, we could immediately tell it was different from other five-star establishments. The experience, from being greeted upon arrival, having our luggage promptly taken, being escorted to the 78th floor for check-in, and finally shown to our room, was incredibly smooth and warm. By the time we left, at least eight hotel staff members had interacted with us, and every single one was genuinely friendly and kind. This 100% positive interaction rate is something I've rarely encountered over the years. For me, the air conditioning's coolness and quietness, as well as absolute cleanliness and a modern feel, are paramount in a hotel room, and they scored full marks on all counts. (I learned that this hotel has only been open for four years, and I truly hope they can maintain this excellent standard, as it's crucial for guests like us). I'd like to thank the gentleman who checked us in – I've forgotten his name, but he was incredibly thoughtful and proactive in anticipating our needs, making arrangements for us to attend a concert on June 26th. I also want to thank the lovely Victor, who showed us to our room, gave us a detailed introduction to the hotel, and took photos for us. And a special thank you to Brian, the 'Chef Concierge' (Golden Key member), who satisfied our curiosity by explaining the origin and role of the Chinese Golden Key concierges. Besides having a wonderful birthday trip, we also gained a rich experience in human connection. Thank you to everyone at Futian MO. We'll definitely be staying here again! ^.^

The location is excellent, overlooking Lianhua Mountain Park from above UpperHills. The hotel facilities are a bit old-fashioned, with a lot of wood paneling. When doors close loudly in this high-rise hotel, the floor-to-ceiling windows can vibrate. In terms of service, they proactively moved me to a twin room, and the room service was quite detailed. However, there's room for improvement during check-in: I wasn't informed about the hotel's facilities or dining options, nor was I told about the complimentary 500 RMB spa voucher.

This is a top choice for Hongkongers traveling north. You can even enjoy the MO Bar from the comfort of your room. Ms. Tipo was incredibly enthusiastic and helpful, and the room service was impeccable!

As a loyal fan of Mandarin Oriental, I specifically came to Shenzhen to check out the world's tallest Mandarin Oriental. The view from the window is great, with a clear sight of the Ping An Finance Center. It's also close to Lianhua Mountain and Bijiashan Park. UpperHills has plenty of dining options, which is very convenient. Indulging in the executive lounge double privilege: The food at the executive lounge was excellent.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to UpperHills and Bijia Mountain Park. The room size is decent, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer great views. Breakfast variety is acceptable, with most essentials covered. Overall, the hotel service is quite good, but the breakfast restaurant service is very average. The biggest rip-off, though, is the hotel's spa. It's overpriced and the massage technique is terrible. I'd say it's the worst spa experience I've had at a five-star hotel! I felt like I was completely ripped off! A total waste of time, I hope everyone avoids it.
