Hotel & Spa GINKGO - Quimper

Beautiful hotel very close to the city centre, with private parking, in a quiet area but with many bars and restaurants nearby. Rooms are beautiful and spacious, and very comfortable. Staff is very helpful, breakfast was good. It has a spa accessible by reservation. Lovely outside space.

Nice Hotel, good and clean rooms with a comfortable bed, friendly staff, good breakfast, parking free

Would come again Hotel is situated in a quiet area and around 15 min walk along the river away from the city. Split level room was quiet, beds in good condition. Be aware of the stairs to reach the bedroom. Missing bid of possibilities to sit at the table. Room was clean. Missing some hooks in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but same like other hotels in Bretagne. Staff could be bit more aware of missing items at the buffet.

Excellent rooms and hotel, can’t mark it any higher due to the lack of a bar, and restaurant. Excellent staff.

Excellent hotel on the edge of Quimper. It was a little difficult to find at first even with Google maps. Reception staff were really friendly and especially helpful when we explained that we hadn't booked breakfast as my partner is gluten intolerant.. they assured us that there would be gluten free bread available for him and there was! We had an enormous room which was impeccably clean and well laid out. Parking was free and safe. It's a short 10/15 minute walk along the river into Quimper where there are many restaurants and bars but there are also a couple of excellent restaurants with a few steps of the hotel if you don't fancy the walk. All in all this was a lovely stay during our tour of beautiful Brittany and we would stay here again when in the area.

We had a lovely family vacation based in Quimper, and we truly enjoyed staying at Hotel Ginkgo. The staff were especially helpful, providing recommendations for day trips and making all sorts of arrangements on our behalf. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. We loved being within walking distance of the town center but still away from all the hustle and bustle. A great experience.

Overall we loved the property, across the board the staff is rude.

Excellent property and service. I just wish we didn't have to arrive by 10:00PM to check-in, we usually arrive late at our destinations. Make sure also you take note of the code to re-enter via the front entrance after hours because there will be no staff at the front desk.
