I celebrated my birthday at Five Seas Hotel Cannes, and what stood out most was the level of personalized service and attention to detail throughout my stay. The hotel is also in an excellent central location, with an abundance of restaurants, cafés, and designer boutiques all within easy walking distance. Before arriving, I worked closely with the concierge team, Romain, Youseff, and Florence, to coordinate our excursions, dinners, and activities. They were fantastic and managed to secure several restaurant reservations that can be notoriously difficult to get in the South of France. Even the smallest details were thoughtfully handled. Since we rented a car, they made sure the addresses were programmed correctly and placed water in the car for us to have while driving. On my actual birthday, they surprised me with a handwritten note and a rose, which was such a thoughtful personal touch. Andrea was wonderful at check-in, and I also want to acknowledge Katerina and Yacine, who were very helpful throughout our stay. The valet team was equally attentive, especially Zakaria, who was personable and made us feel genuinely appreciated. He even drove us to the pier for our speedboat to La Guérite. Nicolas, Lucas, Paulo, and Yuri were also wonderful whenever we interacted with them. Our suite was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout the stay. I loved the nightly turndown service, especially the little bag of gummy candy, and the complimentary restocking of the mini fridge was a nice perk. I was also offered a complimentary discounted rate for a massage, which I happily took advantage of. My masseuse, Caroline, was fantastic. She applied just the right amount of pressure and gave me helpful advice on relieving stress and tension. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up booking two one-hour massages. I also had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager, Muhammad, who was very personable and welcoming. Overall, Five Seas was a wonderful choice for my birthday celebration in Cannes. The combination of the central location, stylish accommodations, and especially the genuinely thoughtful staff made the experience memorable. The concierge team in particular went above and beyond, and I really appreciated how they anticipated the little things that made our stay easier and more enjoyable. The only area I found underwhelming was the onsite restaurant, which was just okay compared with some of the exceptional dining experiences we had elsewhere in the South of France. Aside from that, I had a lovely stay and would happily return.
