Plymouth Bay Inn

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was exceptionally clean, newly renovated, and the high ceilings made it feel much more spacious than a typical hotel room. The location is excellent, with plenty of great restaurants and food options within walking distance. The owners and the entire staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is still undergoing renovations, so the hallways could use some refreshing, but the updated rooms already make a big difference. My only suggestion would be to keep the fitness room open 24/7 by adding key card access and security cameras for guest safety. That would be a fantastic improvement. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. The renovated rooms, convenient location, and great value make it an excellent choice.

The hotel was old and run down. The door to our room needs work. It was difficult to open and close

The parking was easy. AC in room was ok. Shower water was great. Towels were soft. Beds were firm.

It was an old facility and it showed. The room we were in was nice and it looked like the company might have re worked the rooms recently. We had an issue with stained towels and linens and I was told that an outside company handled cleaning them . The staff was great and got all the issues with linens and towels resolved

Rooms look updated and property looks like it was painted but not a great stay. Bed was comfortable and A/C worked but I Cannot recommend this place after our 2 day stay. Curb appeal needs work. Doors to enter building do not lock-this is not safe-Anyone can come in. Entryway to building has random boxes of stuff just there. Rooms not really clean. Jacuzzi, shower, bathroom sink, not clean. Debris in bathroom sink drain. Floors not clean or were vacuumed ever before or while we were there. Toenail clipping on floor made me want to vomit; Gross! debris on floor of closet to include a large screw. No blow dryer or iron in our room as advertised. Lightbulb out. Harsh bright white lighting. Toilet- had to flush several times and had to make sure to move handle so it didn’t run. Toilet paper missing from roll was not ever replaced. Sheets were not changed as the sand from previous day was still there. Lack of Cleanliness should never come into play. They need to step up their game. Do not recommend this place.

This place is way sketchier than it's portrayed online. Mold on the toilets, dirty linens left in rooms, toilets that don't work, no AC in the hallways, no elevator, overall incredibly run down with rooms with broken doors and no numbers. Made do because it was late, but never again.

The room was clean and very spacious. However, the hotel was extremely dated and in need of a great deal of repair. Carpeting on all the stairs was storn up and ragged along the edges. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was..... there. The coffee was some of the better hotel coffee in a lobby that I have ever had.

Very basic, run down place. If you’re just looking for a comfortable bed and hot shower, this place is fine. If you are picky about cleanliness, I would not recommend this place.

Great value for money, lovely family run managed hotel. Enjoyed our stay. Oysterman Duxbury restaurant nearby , incredible.
