Shenzhen Huaqiang Plaza hotel (Huaqiangbei Metro Station)

Staff members 5456 and 5458 were incredibly polite and attentive. Upon learning we had children, they immediately arranged for kids' toothbrushes and slippers to be placed in our room. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, the afternoon tea was delicious, and the room was spotless.

The hotel's location is convenient, with a Starbucks downstairs and a mall nearby. The breakfast is rich with a wide variety of food choices. However, room hygiene could be improved. When I checked in, there was still dust and food crumbs in the room. I hope the hotel can strengthen its cleaning efforts.

I took a friend who was visiting from abroad to Shenzhen for some shopping. Since my friend is particularly interested in electronics, I chose a hotel right in the heart of Huaqiangbei. The hotel is conveniently located next to Huaqiang Electronic World and Metro Lines 2 and 7, and it's within a 10-minute walk to SEG Plaza and Metro Line 1. This allowed us to easily pop back to the hotel to rest and drop off our purchases. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel has some history, but all its facilities and rooms are well-maintained, and the service is incredibly efficient; they readily agreed to our late check-out request. Next time I'm in Huaqiangbei, this will definitely be my go-to hotel.

Positives: incredible location and breathtaking views from above. Unfortunately, that's where the good points end. The room had an overwhelming, almost intolerable stale smell. The shower has an inefficient drainage system that causes a puddle to form after just a few minutes. The staff were unhelpful and uncooperative when we had difficulties with packages and transportation for which we needed a Chinese phone number. In their defense, there's a constant flow of people, and I imagine the reception staff are under continuous stress and pressure, but unfortunately, it's the guest who suffers from the shortage of staff at the front desk. Finally, be careful when ordering packages to this hotel, because after 24 hours without collection, the package is removed from the lockers and returned to the sender, and the hotel does nothing to protect the guest.

Overall, a great stay with complimentary late-night snacks. Linda at the front desk was very helpful and polite. Thumbs up! 👍

I absolutely love it here! Great location, excellent service, lovely rooms, and good value for money. The facilities are top-notch, and it has a great reputation. Plus, it's on a high floor. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Shenzhen. It's the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Xiao Jing, the guest service ambassador, was incredibly helpful – she assisted me with sending a package. She's truly amazing! I hope to see her again on my next visit. The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. Front desk staff Xiao Teng provided attentive and thoughtful service, and checked us in very quickly. The overall facilities are complete, the bed is soft, and I slept very soundly. The location is convenient for getting around. The stay experience was great, highly recommended!

The front desk service was excellent, especially 5218. The room was spacious, and the transportation was very convenient. The view was great, and the hotel is right next to the Huaqiangbei subway station, making it easy to get around. There's also a lot of shopping right downstairs. Definitely recommend!
