The hotel's location is pretty good, right next to Shum Yip Upperhills, making it very convenient for shopping and dining. The hotel has been open for a few years, and you can tell the furniture is a bit old, but overall, it's very tidy and still perfectly functional.
Before check-in, the hotel called to ask about my room preferences and even inquired in advance which essential oil I'd like (sweet orange and lavender were options).
This time, I stayed in two room types (Type A and Type C). The Type C room was noticeably much larger and had a small living area. The Type A room was indeed a bit small, and so was the bed. Although it was a bit small, it had everything you need, including a sofa and all the essentials. The room also came with complimentary oolong tea and two small snack packets.
What was most unique was finding a hair-drying cap in the bathroom, haha! That's quite rare in hotels in China~
When checking out, the front desk staff, Koukou, even gave us a tour of the lobby's design and took an instant photo for us, along with a complimentary room card as a souvenir!
