We stayed 2 nights here as a first stop in Spain to get over our jet lag and as a halfway stop to Castilla y Leon. As a data point, I am a Marriott Titanium member at the time of my stay. I booked a king room. Before we arrived, the hotel had upgraded me to a room with a terrace due to my status. I was told it was their largest room. I rang in to check if the hotel could accommodate my kids who would be travelling with me. I spoke to Nerea who very kindly explained the different room sizes and moved us to the family room at no charge. We had 2 young kids so we were all very comfortable. It was summer and the air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. In fact, it was almost too cold. This AC Hotel is not modern BUT it is clean, tidy and full of charm. There was a lot of room in the lobby area which was always cool which we appreciated as Tudela was hot while we were there! Lobby also had coffee / tea / snacks. At night, you could make a little pouch of dried lavender if you’d like to. There were several parking spaces including EV chargers. I believe the hotel was relatively empty when we were there so there was no lack of parking spaces. The staff here are absolutely wonderful. We met Nerea and she checked us in efficiently and made us feel very welcomed. Jorge was also there during the nights and he was very helpful and friendly too. So was the morning staff. I think maybe his name was Paul? Everyone at the front desk was great but special call out to Nerea who attended to us even before we arrived and went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after during our stay. As a titanium member, you would be given a discount as a welcome gift, which can be used to offset the cost of breakfast. The top up from memory was less than €5 per person. Kids under 12 eat free. The hotel breakfast is modest but would have everything you would need for breakfast. Coffee, tea, orange juice, water and different types of milk. For food, there were easy E eggs (really good ones and not over cooked), bacon, pastries, toast, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, cereal, yogurt, tortilla and more. The best part about the breakfast is Teresa who works there. She is a one man show who sits you, cleans up after you, sets up breakfast and replenishes food. She was so kind and warm to everyone and was absolutely the best sight to start everyday. Tudela is a small town and the AC is just a block away. It was very nice to see the locals all come out during dinner time to hang out with each other. We may not visit Tudela again but our stay was made perfect due to the above mentioned staff. Thank you.
