Pilgrim Sands on Long Beach

The hotel is located about a 5-10 minute drive just outside of Plymouth. It is in a residential area with nothing else around it but it is right on the beach of Warren Cove. One side is set up as a motel with doors on the outside, and the other side with room doors on an interior hallway. The kids loved watching how high the water came up in the morning at high tide. In the afternoon it is great for walking and skipping rocks, and watching the gulls & sandpipers. It was a bit too chilly to use the outdoor pool, but the indoor pool and hot tub area were great. Both were a bit smaller than expected, but not usually occupied. Continental breakfast is served daily from 7-10 consisting of the usual breakfast pastries, a couple of cereals, and a Belgian waffle maker. Coffee, hot chocoate, tea, apple & orange juices were also available, as well as some yogurts in the fridge. The owners let me know that the restaurant located in the hotel should be open in a few months, and that all the rooms were getting redone in the next year. I already reserved a 2-bedroom suite for next August.

It was very nice to stay there, everyone was friendly, loved the cleanliness of the establishment. Staff were amazing very welcoming. My whole family felt very comfortable. We will stay here again!

Loved staying here and having a room overlooking the ocean. Had noises neighbors. Breakfast was ok and glad to have it there. Went outside to enjoy my coffee.

Breakfast: make your own waffles, toast, bagels, some pastries and mini muffins, cream cheese, yoghurt, jam, butter, coffee, tea, milk, apples and oranges. Good location when you have a car. I would definitely go for the balcony options as the waves are very close. Great view. Too heavy use of Febreze and air freshener.

Room was very newly remodeled. It looked amazing. Although the beds appear to be made with cover blankets that smelled of curry. They are like the old school 70’s cover blankets that matched the curtains. And the second blanket also had a musty smell. So we had to remove both to sleep in the beds with just a top sheet. Thank god weather has changed and it wasn’t cold so we could sleep Comfortably. They need to keep up with their bedding and new towels to match the hotel upgrades. Hope it’s just because it’s the beginning of the season and this all gets corrected before people start paying top dollar to stay here.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was amazing. The location was great. The staff went above and beyond for me. Stayed with 3 teenage girls for a basketball tournament. Will 100% stay again and recommend.

We loved the view of the ocean! Staff needs to listen to the customers and not repeat themselves as much as they did about smoking on the property! And the cologne smell in the hotel was very strong and a little too much! Other than that rooms were spacious and clean and it was a great place to stay!! I would definitely recommend going to it and staying again for sure!!

The Hotel is older however it has gone through a wonderful update. I stayed there April 23,2026-April 26.! The decor in my room was modern with a very clean look. The Hotel interior has a beach look and was updated nicely. The workers, especially the front desk check in were kind, helpful and all around accommodating . Breakfast was good and the view-of the ocean was a plus. Heads up there is no elevator.
