Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Golden Bay

###Review Title: Perfect family getaway, highly recommended! This Shenzhen Dameisha Resort (InterContinental Shenzhen Dameisha Resort) is simply amazing! We will definitely be coming back. Room and Comfort: The room was extremely comfortable and kept super clean. We booked the room with two 1.4-meter large beds, which was just perfect for a family traveling with two grandchildren! Plus, we could enjoy a beautiful ocean view right from our room. Garden and Indoor Zoo: The hotel gardens are gorgeous. There is also an indoor children's petting zoo, which the kids absolutely loved! They got to see and pet alpacas, various bunnies, and little hamsters up close. In addition, there is a pony (Shetland pony) and some more exotic creatures (like millipedes with a unique look and snakes), all safely kept in enclosures. It's fantastic for young children. Beach and Sea Views: The hotel beach is stunning! There is a designated safe swimming area in the sea. The sand on the white sand beach is very fine and soft. The October weather was exceptional, and the water was warm and crystal clear. Best of all, there are no high-rise buildings on the horizon blocking the view, offering a wonderfully unobstructed vista. Conclusion: All in all, it was a fantastic experience. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend it to everyone!

This was my third stay at Marriott, but the experience this time was quite poor. In the middle of the night, the toilet in the room started flushing automatically and kept doing it every now and then, so I spent almost the entire night listening to the flushing noise. When booking through Trip.com, it clearly stated that floors 1-5 were deluxe garden view rooms, but at check-in, I was told that only floors 1-3 are garden view rooms. Also, they used to have live music at the bar during my past visits, but now, apart from looking at some small animals and playing in the sand, there is almost nothing fun to do.

This is our second stay here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, offering views of both the gardens and the ocean. We came for a weekend getaway and to celebrate a birthday; the hotel thoughtfully decorated the room and prepared a birthday cake for us. The buffet spread was extensive and delicious. We've finally found a great spot for a relaxing weekend recharge, and we will definitely be back.

This is my third time staying here. This time I brought my elderly parents and baby along, and since it was a weekday, it wasn't crowded at all. The front desk manager and staff member Freeman Chen were exceptionally wonderful—always smiling and so warm and polite. Seeing that I was traveling with seniors and a child, they were very considerate and upgraded us to a Courtyard Sea View Room, as well as giving us complimentary tickets for the mini-train. Out of all my visits, this one delivered the highest emotional value by far! I've been to Le-Hua before, but I still prefer this place—the service is much better, though that might be because I always visit on weekdays. I will definitely be back! 👍

This isn't my first time here, and it's truly a fantastic place to bring a small dog. The room comes fully equipped with lots of pet supplies, and there's even a private beach exclusively for dogs! The breakfast was also delicious. Whenever I visit Dapeng, this will still be my top choice!
