The hotel is very clean and new, the breakfast has a great variety, and Amelia provided wonderful service. Vivi and Rudy were also great.

I chose a Guangzhou Tower view room for my business trip to Guangzhou this time, and it was quite to my liking. The floor-to-ceiling windows look right out onto the Canton Tower and Zhujiang New Town. Coming back to the room after a busy day to take in the night view really helps you unwind. The room is quiet, the desk is practical for working, the bedding is comfortable, and sleep quality is on point. The service strikes just the right balance, check-in and check-out were swift, and the breakfast has enough options to enjoy a proper meal even when you're in a rush. Zhujiang New Town is right downstairs, making it very convenient to meet clients. Overall, it's well-suited for business travel. The price isn't low, so I'd recommend booking the tower view room in advance.

Overall, it was a decent stay. The shower water pressure was a bit low. I booked a basic room, which was fairly reasonably priced for Ctrip members, but they don't have their own loyalty program, so room upgrades aren't an option. The overall service falls short compared to the nearby Four Seasons or even the Ritz-Carlton; perhaps its main selling point is just being in a high-rise. Also, the glasses and spoons in the minibar weren't completely clean. That's about it.

Notably, the wellness center's swimming pool and the men's locker room also boast direct views of the Canton Tower. • Consistently Superb Dining: With seven diverse restaurants and bars, the culinary offerings are impressive. The breakfast comes highly recommended—a semi-buffet spread featuring freshly steamed Cantonese dim sum like shrimp dumplings (har gow) and siu mai, alongside premium fresh juices and fruits. On the 107th floor, the Japanese restaurant Kurotaki and the skyline bar Too High are prime spots for evening drinks while soaking in the glittering nightscape. • Facilities & Design: The aesthetic strikes a flawless balance between contemporary luxury and traditional Lingnan elements. Guest rooms are exceptionally spacious (starting from around 55 sqm even for entry-level categories), equipped with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and plush, comfortable bedding. Toiletries and disposable amenities are also generously provided.

The hotel boasts top-notch facilities. I booked a Deluxe Room and upgraded to a Deluxe Canton Tower View Room for an additional 699 RMB after calling the front desk. The room offers a stunning 270-degree view, allowing you to admire both the Canton Tower and IFC building from inside. The only downside is that the bathroom is an interior room without a window, and the Deluxe Room itself isn't particularly spacious. The gym is fantastic, with views of the Canton Tower from almost everywhere and the IFC right in front of the treadmills. It spans two floors and has a comprehensive range of equipment – easily the best gym I've seen.

Consistently excellent. I've stayed at the Rosewood Guangzhou over a dozen times now. The service is attentive and the breakfast is great. The only drawback is that the mattress is indeed a bit too soft, but everything else is up to a ultra-five-star standard.
