lyf Chinatown Kuala Lumpur

The hotel is located in Kuala Lumpur city center. Although the rooms are small, they are clean. There's a washing machine available on the 12th floor. Please note that all hotel amenities need to be collected from the check-in counter staff.

The bedding was incredibly damp; we ended up using our own disposable duvet covers instead. We had booked a room with a window, but it opened up to a wall, with only a 30cm gap between the window and the wall. Looking down, it seemed to be the hotel lobby. I thought it was a Chinatown hotel catering to Chinese guests, but everyone spoke English, very English indeed. Breakfast was just roasted potatoes and roasted tomatoes, all of them burnt.

This time, I had a layover in Kuala Lumpur and chose a hotel closer to Chinatown. I'd stayed at their Bangkok branch before and liked it because it was clean and well-designed, so I decided to try the Malaysian branch! And it was still great!
