Holiday Inn Resort THE SQUIRE AT GRAND CANYON by IHG

This hotel's location is fantastic, very close to the Grand Canyon South Rim entrance, saving a lot of time and effort when driving into the park. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the amenities were complete. It was very quiet at night. The hotel also has a pool and a fitness area, which is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Parking is free, and the front desk service was friendly and attentive. Overall, as a base for visiting the Grand Canyon, I was very satisfied with my stay.

We paid for our stay and breakfast through Trip.com. At check-in, everything was confirmed, and we received breakfast vouchers. At breakfast, we presented the vouchers, and there were no issues. At check-out, we were told everything was fine. A few hours later, on the same day, the hotel charged our card (the one used for the deposit) for the accommodation. Later still, they charged us for breakfast. We've been unable to get a refund from either the hotel or Trip.com. Everyone is blaming each other. We've been in contact for over 3 weeks now, and no one has refunded our money! Either book directly with the hotel or avoid this hotel altogether.

There are plenty of games to play, but it gets very crowded. Bowling is $60 per lane per hour. The location is excellent, and the breakfast is delicious. The bed is very comfortable (it's a Simmons mattress).
